I think to win this it will be all about having the quickest ball movement we can muster. If we go slow their defensive tall's will do exactly what the WCE did to us. Stewart will have a field day as will Harry Taylor and Henry.

Speed will keep them separated and provide the 1 on 1's we need inside F50 to atleast put on some scoreboard pressure. Slow and long to congestion will be the beginning of a hiding.

Really need the mitch and harry to spread to each side and split the defenders rather than all competing for the ball and allowing the spare to impact the contest. We are fortunate that one is a right footer and harry is a lefty, so lets make use of that.

When was the last time we won the final round when we weren't playing finals? Normally half the team have already left for Bali in their heads.

Second part to the question is the last time we lost by less than 10 goals in the last round. Assuming 2013 against Port.

Remember the 120 point loss to North in the final round? Most pathetic display I have ever seen. Angwin tried, kicked 4.

Edelsten winning a car that day in the end of year raffle too.

Lowest I’ve ever felt supporting this club.

Can they put video of the Milburn hit on constant rotation on every video screen at the club all week long.

Milburn is the biggest whinger to grace the field
Cost me 500 bucks when I backed a draw at half time in 2009 Grand Final
It was level with 30 s to go until Dasher whinged once’s to often
Result goal to the Sainters

Fast forward to this year
Milburn is now the runner for Bannockburn and has been mouthing off as usual so much so that my mate who umpires had to tell the coach prior to the game starting to keep Darren in check

A play on decision or holding the ball 50 50 goes against Bannockburn
Dasher strolls up to the ump and says
“ reckon that was holding the ball”
Free kick and goal to the opposition

The guy was a great player but is a total tool
You backed that the half time score would be a draw?

Weitering and Cunningham looking a chance. Lang is out though having minor ankle surgery.

Worst effort ever...
I left after they gave Burton the ball to kick a goal...
The ONLY time I have left a game early...
Agree with all, worst game I have ever seen...

Good news.. Lang early exit... Suspect he was going to be out, so looks like Cunners may have been a certainty.

I guess it also gives Cunningham plenty of recovery time too

At the season beginning a wise TCer predicted Carlton would have eight wins in 2019. A win this week will prove me right! Just thought I would pump up my own tyres. Although I won't mention I predicted Melbourne to win the flag.

Without looking I would say 8 wins would have you previously sitting at around 12-11 without a few teams sitting between 4-6 making up bottom 4-5. This has been a different year.

I contemplated leaving at half time that day. Watched about 5 mins of the 3rd and then left. As I was boarding the train, a Norf supporter was rushing TO the ground.

You have forgotten last years game against the Giants when they played with 16 on the field and still smashed usi

16 players for 10 minutes.
Damage done well before they rested players who didnt have to be out there.

I remember that game mainly because of the Carlton bashers focussed on the 16 players.

I thought this years effort against the GWS was the worst live game I I've seen in the flesh seen from the Blues.

I thought it was 12 on the field and 3 of them were Stevie Wonder, Jose' Feliciano and Humphrey bear?
