Good stuff. Well done to you and Teaguey. Back in the '81 pre season I wrote a letter to our new coach David Parkin. Basically giving him my thoughts on how he should go about his job. Oooh,

He sent me a 2 page handwritten reply, thankfully positive in tone, saying much of what I said was in line with the thinking within the club.

I had that letter for years, to me it was indicative of David Parkin being The Man our club needed.

Your letter from David Teague gives me the same feeling that he is The Man for us going forward.

I think that might be a general membership letter Murray.

I agree and the language patterns in it tell us Teague didn't write it.
Not that it matters.
It's a good thing.

Yes, it was a general letter. Apologies if that was misleading. But I'd love to see your letter murray, that's a cool story.

Anyway, I hope the dude can coach. I didn't sleep last night, because I couldn't stop thinking about his punctuation.

I'll see if I can find the letter guys. But not confident, it was 38 years ago. I've moved house 4 times since then as well as cleaned out very thoroughly in a divorce.

But hey, Go Blues !

At Percy Jones' pub, the North Fitzroy Arms, on this coming Friday the 11th of October at 1pm, David Teague will be the guest speaker at the luncheon, it costs around $40/45 dollars, to hear David and a three course meal, drinks at bar prices. Good to see some TC'ers along, make a booking on 9486 4501
