Good appointment!

Spare money in our soft cap should be spent on player development resources not this.

By the way I am having a coffee right now with my 95 step dad who fought in WW2.
The name for not adjusting to life after war has increased in letters and syllables due to the simple equation according to him
The longer the phase= greater financial assistance

I guess I’ll take his word over yours because he actually fought in a war

How many assistant coaches at the club do they have or need? It’s hard to argue that a mentor for an inexperienced coach isn’t warranted, or wouldn’t assist the players/team in the long run.

The condition of not adjusting to life after WW1 was called shell shock
It then went to battle fatigue around WW2
Now it PTSD
The longer the name the more compensation you get
Of course the life of it has been sucked right out

Improvements to the coaching panel addresses player development.

Worsfold knows enough about what it takes to be a challenger for the flag. I am happy to see where this goes but hopefully not down the Eagles playing group path.

Whenever I hear the word consultant I think of someone who does
bugger and gets a lot of money
Clearly did well at Essendon* last year
Clearly turned a blind eye to Cousins and half the West Cocaine Eagles shoving white powder up their hooters.
Hey doesn’t Juddy know John.

Why don’t we go one better have a consultant for Pratt or Mathieson

Or better still instead of paying someone to make our coach “better”and avoid Teague being the sixth coach in a row to be sacked at Carlton before their contract expires pay the obvious spare money in the soft cap and get the Fev down there to teach them how to kick a set shot without running around in @#$%&! circles and doing bananas

2 days ago sellers announces on 360 that Teague mother in law is in a bad way , and then 48 hours this worsfold appointment

Teague press conference on Saturday night after the game , showed he is mentally drained

Very weird things are happening , let’s watch this space

“It’s more of a mentoring role. He will come over to a couple of games [including this weekend] ... it’s more to review our processes. How we go about things, and to give me feedback on the way we do things, not on what we’re doing as much."

Glad to hear what we're doing is right.

Might be time to call on “the Ian Stewart Exit Scenario”.

I look forward to his views on "how we go about it".

Optimistic but underwhelmed.

Mainly because of the way Worsfold finished at Essendon*.

Secondly does this have shades of Malcolm Blight about it? He’ll fly in and out for a couple of games (Steven Trigg anyone). Is he really invested?

Thirdly another mate of Teagues? So is he going challenge the status quo or another ‘mentor’ to reinforce the “we believe in the way we play” crap.

Yes I have been scarred and had all hope sucked out of me by this club

Is it the role of a mentor to challenge the status quo?
