Game was over before half time

We need to stop giving sides a start (5 goals in the wet is like 50 points). Have done it in 3 of our 4 losses

Too much backslapping and high-fiveing this week with this bs #Teague2020

Players were not mentally switched on to go to war and make this their GF

Fisher has become the elephant in the room. I'd drop him for the last 2 games

Lang cannot leave Ikon Park quick enough for my liking

Deluca needs a rocket up his backside for passing to Thomas when he was 1m out on his left side

McKay...see Fisher

Don't think they believe enough yet against sides like Richmond, especially at the peak of their powers. If we held 16pts it'd have been a fair effort but, yes, 3 of our 4 losses we've given up a 6 goal start.

Reckon they make next week their GF. Win next week and we're 6-5 at worst, something we'd have died for 9 weeks ago.

Belief is definitely an issue. At the start of the final quarter we had the Kreuzer free from 45m directly in front, Deluca on the goal line and Murphy's ootb free 45m out. Could easily have got 2.1 and a 10-point margin, instead it was 0.1 for a 22 point margin, and we kind of deflated until the last 6-7 minutes when the game was realistically out of reach. A team used to winning would have had the Tigers shitting themselves.

Given his effort from 5m out on his left side. Maybe he knew something we didn't. Both of those should have been fairly easy goals, even in the conditions. It was really the tale of the game. They would make goals of out of nothing, and we would butcher gold-plaited opportunities. We really, really need some ground level class in our forward line.

Pointy end of a grueling season, West Coast last week, up against a genuine flag contender today, young underdone bodies will be feeling it. Throw in the coaching shenanigans, broken synergy with injuries to key players throughout, I think they're giving it the best shot they can all things considered.

Still believing.

This, and the ruck, are our two biggest development needs. If we don't address these we are going nowhere. LeBois isn't the answer either lol

Went to the game.
The margin flattered Richmond, I thought that last mark was after the siren and it seems it was.
Beaten by a team who's ball use was much cleaner than ours.
Take out that first quarter and we matched it with them.
Too many passengers today, there will be at least a couple of changes next week.
Our forward line was disappointing but the backline held up well.
I don't think we got any injuries so onto next week.

We was ROBBED again.... Mark paid after the siren is an embarrassment to the AFL and should be withdrawn. Makes no difference to the end result but it's a matter of ETHICS .... Paying attention AFL .... hmmmm... paying attention AFL....HMMMMM???????

Mackay is soooo lazy and needed to be dropped weeks ago to make him wake up to himself. I don't think he will ever stop being lazy.
What could we get for him in a trade? Maybe get Jenkins?

McKay for Jenkins? Dreaming. Surely we'd have to chuck in Charlie as well?

We keep Harry and recruit good small forwards, Lang, Fisher (who's better suited on the ball or wing) and Deluca are not damaging enough as forwards. The Richmond backs paid them no respect and continued to set up play from our forward line, the Tiger backs continued to run out and link up with little pressure.

Lang is a bludger, cheating by going forward whilst the ball was still to be won.

I thought our defenders were great again.

Can't watch AFL 360 because of Riewoldt, he's got to be the biggest sook on the field, wants a free kick every time he's involved in the play.

We had a crack
Fact is we had half a dozen passengers today
They didn’t
Add the ones playing in the Magoos
means it’s up to the recruiting department to replace the spuds with AFL talent
Going to be tough with slim pickings in the draft 2019 style

How many posters bang on about how shit the umps are in relation to being a disadvantage to us
That argument has been around since the birth of the game
Get over it
We actually won the free kick count 22 to 21
There will always be howlers of decisions in games for both sides particularly when it is a scrappy game
in wet conditions

Reality check today
At least we didn’t throw in the towel after a poor first quarter once again not taking our chances
Disappointing out of middle today and Richmond a lot cleaner in possession and disposal
Lang O’Brien gibbons H de Luca all pretty poor today

Jones Weiters excellent
Simmo and Murphy good
McGovern was much better seemed to cover more ground

Graham kicking 4 goals very disappointing and cost us the game

Bombing into forward line and picking out Richmond defenders in the first 2 quarters also disappointing

Prestia was so clean with the ball

It's why we need Coniglio

Similar players who have both an inside and outside game

More than that, Jenkins is very average.
McKay is an absolute gun in waiting.
FFS give the guy a break. This is really his first year at AFL level and he’s been contributing and competing pretty well, chases hard, sticks tackles and takes big pack marks.
Geez, the best key forwards in the game wouldn’t stand a chance if they played for Carlton!
It takes them a few years to hit their straps. Big Harry will get there.

Oh, let me guess, bring in Kerr?
Jenkins OMG! This guy is half the player McKay is. And McKay is only going to get better while Jenkins is past his best.

You watch, Harry McKay will be consistently better than Eric Hipwood within two years, as soon as we get our shit together as a team.

We have quite a few things to worry about ahead of Harry McKay.
We need a top line ruckman to take over from Kreuzer. Phillips and co are nowhere near it.
We need another gun mid who is strong and fast and clean.
We need a small forward who kicks goals and tackles.
Oh, and we need a coach!
And excellent assistant coaches.
And we need supporters who support rather than just look for reasons to be unsatisfied.

Definitely one tall too many today. Kennedy for Harry, in hindsight.
