Don’t know what the live watchers thought but encouraged by McGovern first up.
LOB has also fallen away.

Not sure LOB has ever got going...any chance of him laying a tackle Kenny?

Guys, please get of Fisher’s back. He’ll be fine.
Hope to see Dow and Kennedy back this week.

Same people who trashed Weitering all last season need a new kid to crucify. Expect he’ll be back to his best next season and Dow will also find his feet.

It's not trashing him to say he's had a bad back end of the year and either needs a rest or a few weeks in the two's to regain form and figure out what his role is. At the moment he looks confused and is producing accordingly.

Teague's future as senior coach may well rest on the result of this match.
I'm sure Coniglio will be watching and if the Dees beat the Swans it might have a significant affect on the outcome of the Stocker trade. (Saying that I would think Melbourne would tank the last game of the year if they beat the Swans in order to get Rowell or Anderson).

True ... he’s not coming off a very high base.
Least he got into half a gallop when Teague donned the train driver’s hat.
Was one of the group who gave the side nothing yday.

Melbourne will need to win both games to finish above us due to %. But this week was one of the two wins I had is down for in the last 5 games of the year. I hate the Saints, it’s time to end this hoodoo as well.

We should definitely bring back Kennedy this week and probably one of Dow or Stocker for Lang and DeLuca.

Hmm... Lang, DeLuca, Fisher and LOB?

Surely, we’ve seen enough of Lang?

I’m a bit more forgiving of DeLuca b/c he was only thinking about VFL until a few weeks ago. I think he should stay on the list next year and we can see what he does with a proper pre-season but I think he might be on the chopping block for the last couple of games.

I’m 50-50 on Fisher. We need to get more and more games into him. But he also might need a break.id be tempted to keep him in the team.

Similar with LOB. I like his run and wonder whether Teague likes what he brings to our structure. I’d be tempted to keep him for now.

Game to be played with a roof.

Should be a quick track.

Need running players.
I've gone off O'Brien due to his inability to stick a tackle, but his running will be valuable this week.

Lang ... seen enough. Depth player. Break glass if needed.

Want to see Stocker.

Kennedy and Dow might get a look in...but for whom? DeLuca and Fish? They are quick and Fish needs to show something before the season is finished.
Fisher is lucky to be included due to form imo.

Would prefer to see TDK as the tap ruckman for this game. Maybe Philips...purely for his ability to tap to advantage.
Bring Kreuzer back for the last game at Geelong.

Cripps and Thomas will play their 100th games for Carlton this round.

50 AFL games for Nic Newman too.

It's a pity that the Saints have recently regained Steven and Hannebery to their side - however Gresham will be missing which is a bonus.
They will be a better side that beat us earlier in the year but so are we. Hopefully are boys are a little more 'match hardened' after playing West Coast and Richmond whilst they might be feeling content after a close win against the Dockers.
Should be a close game between two evenly matched sides - hopefully we are a little more desperate for the win.

No Liam Jones thanks to a larynx fracture - isn't that what Ed Curnow had also suffered against Richmond?

Maybe Casboult goes back this week?
Or maybe Goddard comes back in with the opportunity to show the Saints they made a mistake...

Personally, I’d prefer Casboult goes back and we bring in another runner or (alternatively  ) Kennedy...

Out: Jones, Lang, DeLuca
In: Kennedy, Dow, Stocker

Well picked up missnaut.

I was going to mention the same...and no free kick either.
We on the other hand lose another player for the rest of the year from the same tactic.

It has to stop. Both things: umpire condoning this behaviour, along with AFL and its Law enforcers...and for Richmond, enough is enough. Our players have a life after football let alone young children who need their father.

Jones out. Bugger. We had Bruce and Membrey covered easily. Now I guess Casboult goes back. Plowman to Stevens. Or maybe someone more attacking. Stevens played smart footy against Freo, used his body well. But clearly he can be run off to create, he doesn’t have repeat sprints in him at the moment.

Carlisle found some form so any long bombs he will cut off easily.

Think the Saints by a couple of goals unfortunately.
