Mackay should have played in the 80s. Doesn't have the work rate for modern football

It really tipped over the critical mass of senior players required scattered across the field allowing us to compete.

Just got to fight it out now.

As I said last week, he needs some serious off season fitness. And Teague and co should not be letting him run up the ground like he does, so much for playing to your strengths.

Win this quarter.
Run the footy and control the corridor. No long kicks into the F50 at all unless we have someone in the clear.

We are seriously missing a super quick midfielder. His name is Fisher.

Everyone needs to chill a little bit. We’re playing the reigning premiers and we’re missing a bunch of key players. We don’t have the depth yet to be able to cope with the number of players out

Against top quality opposition your average players are exposed
Lang
Goddard
Deluca
Kennedy
Are not up to it

O’Brien is so soft

Positives
Weitering
Gibbons
Walsh
Silvagni
Newman

Phillips lacks core strength

The system doesn't stand up.
That's the reality.
Yes, they are a better team but we are aiding and abetting their game by playing long into the F50 where they have taken 18 intercept marks in three quarters of footy. The world record is about 19.
McKay will never kick a goal from HBF. I can't understand why he takes most of his marks there.

Kreuzer will find it hard to get back in.

Teague said in the pre-game interview there's gastro going through the club. It's why Daisy was out.

We should played Casboult back and brought in De Koning.

There's the difference. Lang holds the ball for a disposal and they would tap it on to advantage.

Not often I agree with you, but exactly what I thought. Or even an unfit McGovern would've been better.

I reckon they did that against sixteen other teams last year.
Not saying we should just accept it, but they're the reigning premiers for a reason.
