Finally getting to watch the replay.

That pick up from Setterfield.. WOW !

Trying to watch the replay of your third win in a row is like trying to get to the kindergarten performance of your third child’s Christmas Pageant- a bit meh!

"Barge Arse"

The best Barge Arse since Deisel ???

Although to give Synners some credit, since AR has got to him he's running out of the contests very easily, and has become the no.1 mid in the comp. Thank God he's with us :thanks:

Agreed very noticeable this year. He is leaner and faster. Thanks AR!

Lisbon to Helsinki (4hrs 40), Helsinki to Tokyo ( 10 hrs), Tokyo to Melbourne (10 hours) …….had a bit of sleep after midnight but after watching that live today, every minute of the long haul was worth it. I'd travel half way around the world to see Crippa play- what a star. Bring on West Coast and let's all get there .

Had a similar experience: Athens to Doha 4 hours. 4 hour wait at Doha, and 14 hours Doha to Sydney....worth every minute of the sleepless day/ night The Crippa Beast show...very Judd like with players hanging off him and still getting the pss away to a team mate. Inspirational....Nichols-like...the sheer power.

I’ll be paying special attention to this game come Brownlow Medal night - because if Cripps doesn’t get three votes this will be up there with the Diesel 44 possession game no Votes debacle of 1993.

That wasn't a debacle...it was criminal, and the culprit, the head umpire was dobbed in and nothing.

Crippa for the Brownlow. If Kelly gets it he gets it, but he doesn't win it.

Fantastic team effort led by Sir Patrick of Carlton . Unfortunately he's not a blues supporter, been brainwashed by his grandmother ( nannys boy ), but he does enjoy watching the blues with me .

Lets organise a surprise visit by Cripps...that will change his mind.

Lets do it!!!!!! Blues are on the up.

Now is the time to bring back lost fans from the last 2 decades' exodus.
We've lost a generation. Time they came back home.

64,000 members can't be wrong...and that's after a 2 win season.

This might be a big call. But in time keoghs early 2019 posting about Setterfield is going to be remembered in the same Hall of Fame as Synbads 'bargeass Cripps' posting spree.

That's what happens when you stick your chin out with a too early to know call.

...and...they're till just kids.

May I say Mrs Teddy was a 'woods supporter when we were going out but I showed her the error of her ways.

Our grandkids don't know any other colour but blue.

Be a man.

A four quarter effort.............ferocity and hardness at the ball and the man was unrelenting once again. Also we are spreading a bit quicker which gives you options. Not as much banging it on the boot.Lot more thought in disposal.Terrific team effort.

Special mention to the less obvious.Phillips fantastic game.Billie Setterfield and Mickey Gibbons providing a much needed chop out for Cripps and Walshy who i must say were enormous yesterday. Many hands make light work.

Nail on head Mickstar.

Unrelenting.
Speed of spread with intent and confidence.
Connection.
Speed by hand.

Philips
Gibbons
Setters

Walsh and Crppa speak for themselves.

Just like to add... LEVI !!!!!

I thought it was his best game.

After leaving the ground with an ankle, I was worried we'd forget the ground he has made with his development.

Can't help but think Andrew Russell's work on these players when I see exponential improvement.

The footy has been so much fun the last 7 weeks. I'm rediscovering my love of the game. I'm remembering how much joy this club gives me. I'm loving the Carlton member zone. I'm loving the Navy blue resurgence. When you look at players who aren't playing at the moment you start to realise the depth that we have created in our list. Exciting times ahead. Oh and just quietly, I reckon Teague has just about done enough

Sadly I'm in Tokyo so couldn't watch the game live and have only watched the replay on my phone. My old eyes can't deal with the small screen. I had a solemn day at Hiroshima and came home to the win. So I had a whole range of emotions in the one day.

I just love winning

Go Blues

... and much loved character ... a classic.

I had a great mate at Inu and played music with, and I think IIRC from posts in the past that Synners may have known him too, who wrote the thesis "The Ambiguities of Euripedes", and he wasn't a Greek, and a great muso.

The message I got from his work was that we are all ambiguous in much that we do, but our heart is always true.

I know what you mean Tommy.
He has my respect.
The point made above wan't personal, but if someone goes early and are wrong, they become a target, for THAT early call.
