Has a couple of above average games and posters go the early Crow in the other direction

Why is it after only 15 Games YOU went the early crow and wrote him off??????

And now he has finally got a chance to string some games together, get some match fitness and find confidence, you complain we are going the early crow because we could see he can actually play the game.

Posters bag you for assorted reasons, the majority of you own making. Don't blame the messengers.

Eleni back in the Magoos next week hopefully. :donk:
Surely the AFL won’t subject us to her sub-standard (ie crap) dumpiring two weeks in a row.

Don't know about that.Thought she was OK..................Reckon Brett Roseberry had a shocker.Roseberry aint a bad umpire but he crucified us at critical stages today. It was like he was single handedly trying to arrest the momentum away from us.

I agree Mick. Eleni's problem is she tries to impose herself on the game by getting involved where there's no need. A bit like Razor Ray.
Some of Roseberry's decisions were very poor. Highlighted by the spoiling free against Newman in the Crows forward 50.

Phillips isn't receiving the love he deserves. His primary role is to give our midfielders first use and at one stage hitouts to advantage were 13-2 our way. It's going to be tough for the MC next week because Kreuzer doesn't deserve to come back in.
Watching the replay this morning, i noticed McGovern in the rooms. He definitely looks like AR has been working him hard. He looks like he's lost a few kilos.
Harry? I had my say last week and the same issues persist but I thought his effort was slightly improved this week. For a player who was so good one on one earlier in the season, he's being beaten too often at the moment. I'd bring TDK in and give him a run.

Given the team's form and the stakes I would've expected at least 50k.
It sounded like a LOT more at the ground. We are a loud bunch.

Also, there were a lot less Adelaide supporters than I would have expected based on past games.

you're being generous, it was way earlier than 15 games

anyway, i hope most can see he has some real ability and given time to develop he'll be a very good player for us

He is slow and his kicking lacks penetration
Has a good feel for the game

I just love some of you guys
Your so sensitive over the negative stuff I say
Setterfield played well yesterday
But the way the game is played these days a guy should get 20 plus a game playing on a wing
The pick up below his knees was fantastic as was his goal
But many of his possessions yesterday were of the cheap and easy variety
That’s why I reckon Casboult was BOG
Even better than Cripps
Ultimately he was the most influential player on the ground
Personally Cazz in relation to the state of the game at the moment
The positive is the comp is so even
The negative is how the game is played
Guys getting mega numbers of possessions is almost meaningless

The chipping around in the back line and the obsession with retaining possession
makes most games hard to watch
Setterfield should get his hands on the ball a fair bit given he plays between the arcs all the time

We have no second round pick and gave up pick 43 as well to get him

On the broadcast that’s the loudest I’ve heard any Carlton crowd be for many years, the boos were especially loud and noticeable. All Carlton supports must be naturally racist...

This might be a big call. But in time keoghs early 2019 posting about Setterfield is going to be remembered in the same Hall of Fame as Synbads 'bargeass Cripps' posting spree.

Or the fellow, back in the day, who relentlessly bagged Simmo after his first few games—so long ago that I’ve forgotten his name.

A four quarter effort.............ferocity and hardness at the ball and the man was unrelenting once again. Also we are spreading a bit quicker which gives you options. Not as much banging it on the boot.Lot more thought in disposal.Terrific team effort.

Special mention to the less obvious.Phillips fantastic game.Billie Setterfield and Mickey Gibbons providing a much needed chop out for Cripps and Walshy who i must say were enormous yesterday. Many hands make light work.

When did ‘Saddler’ (Will Setterfield) become ‘Billie’?

I especially loved how we all interrupted our third rendition of da da da da da, to seranade the umpires off the ground with (well deserved) chorus of booing.

Adelaide s form has been average since the 2017 Grand Final
Dropping Betts was mystifying
As was Greenwood
Without them their forward line was horrendous
Walker doesn’t work hard enough
Never has
And Keath possibly the best intercept marking defender was a big out
The soft politically worded “managed”

Great to get 3 in a row though
I
