Let's get to 17th first. One step (of the ladder) at a time.

On the back of this, they should get up.
Kreuzer won't have it so easy against English.
Unless LOB is injured, we should go in with an unchanged team for the first time in a while.

Kreuzer or Casboult have a weight advantage over English.
I am confident the ball will go our way from the ruck.
I rarely do, but I've seen the good and bad from English.
Body work is not his strength.

Go Blues.

I believe we will build from yesterday's win.
52 point turn around from37 points down after 45 minutes of footy.
You better believe it. The boys believe.

Given the issues we've had this year in being 'mentally prepared', my main concern is if we turn up, having won, and having beaten the Dogs last time, and think it's just going to happen. I'm not sure how the coaches can guard against this, as it's clear we have seemed ready to go a few times this season and then turned out not to be.

Agree with this. No changes unless from injury. Let them back it up.

Can someone let Newman know he can rush behinds in the goal square when under pressure though.

Most likely possibility.

Wouldn't mind seeing Cottrell in as another runner though.

As long we turn up mentally 100% we should have no problems.

This is the test now.

Good point, Weitering also should have killed a contest instead of a light touch in the goal square that resulted in a goal.

Overall Weitering was excellent, even when the Lions were up early his read of the play was exceptional.

He tried to mark that one. He was in quality marking form, and was backing himself, but mucked it up. If I recall correctly the next contest he smashed it away.

Still in the afterglow of yesterday’s great come-from-behind win.
What a difference a week makes. This time last week we were feeling very low and despondent after the game against Essendon**
Hopefully the Almighty Blues can back it up against the Dogs so we can go into the bye on a high.
