Since the players decided to show up last week, I'm gonna show up this week (and finally make use of my very expensive membership).

That's how it works. They show up when they need to, I show up in kind.

(Either way I buy a membership. I'm so brainwashed )

I am sorry Carlton Fans, but the new Coach/new game plan Honeymoon is OVER.

Its now back to the reality Check that we will most likely go back to our old habits and the Doggies will run all over us- easily will beat us by 6-7 goals if not more!

I pray that i am Wrong..... but just can't see us winning this game :(

I think I heard a stat on the weekend that stated when teams change coach their chance of winning the next week is around 50%

Week 2 drops to about 6-7% though.

Week 1: 44%
Week 2: 11%

That’s 11% more chance than any week this year ...

Good decision

Yes. A 'tall' or rather a 'slow' had to go. Can't go too slow against the Dogs.

Silvagni hasn't kicked a goal since round 9.

Can't stay in the side as a forward if you contribute little to the scoreboard.

Doesn't win much of the ball either.

It's not as though he can go into the middle or onto the wing like Murphy can.

Good to have some competition at least.

Tough one. JSOS has been playing with more heart and endeavour than most, and I feel like his repeat efforts can be contagious and get the team going.
But his performances have been serviceable, not great. He hasn't been taking marks or kicking goals.
With Gov, Harry and Charlie, the forward line is a bit imbalanced with him in. Tough one though

As long as Murph demonstrates the same intent, commitment and desperation as JSOS.

Nah

Jacks physical presence and pressure and team lifting effort has been really valuable. His versatility is an asset when needed as well.

You only change a winning side in our predicament through injury.

How does Murphys form warrant instant promotion ??

Rubbish decision.

Jack had one tackle on the weekend.

Good decision by the MC.

That only matters (slightly) if you don't have the ball. We have Cripps and Walsh !

I thought there was more than one tackle involved in that triple effort he made to create our first goal last week.

But was our lowest contributor last week - if you go buy DreamTeam points.

Murph was pretty good in his last full game against the Filth.
If he brings that instead of ‘lazy Murph’, it’ll go a long way towards us winning the game.
