I’m also going. Feels different having a night game.
Go Blues! I need some more emotional nourishment before the bye.
Five goal win would do nicely. :fight:

Geez I hope we can backup with another win this weekend. I hope the group can show some steel.

That is the big challenge.
It has been a few years since we won two games in a row.

And how long since we beat the same team twice in one season??

I am going tonight, going in a bit earlier to have a drink in the captains club room.
I am trying not to be too confident about winning, we have been let down so many times in previous years.
Fingers crossed, it would be fantastic to go into the bye on the back of two wins.
Go Blues.

If you see Daisy in there, don’t film it!

I'll say one thing about Silvagni J - he's got the "I'm busting a gut" face well and truly worked out. Take a look at how he just looks to be trying soooo hard in every clip. Including the one where he's doing a slow jog at training. I like him as a player more than I did last year, but I'm still not convinced he's going make it. Good decision.

So you think he has the Nick Stevens thing going on.

But Jack actually tries.

And points to Jack for that ... but Stevens was a better player.

Rhys-Jones didn't look like he was trying at all, (except perhaps if he was lining someone up), but his contribution to the team was enormous.
I'm not anti-Jack, but just trying alone does not warrant selection ahead of a player who will ultimately contribute more to the team*.

* and that's meant as a general point rather than a confident statement about Murphy.

All week I've been getting texts "If Carlton sack a coach each week, Carlton can win a flag" from friends and family. We have to win two in a row so they shut up.
