Great stuff boys.............Cripps elevating himself into the Sticks category as a leader and that's saying something...............shit that kid Walsh can play.Stating the obvious but shit he can play.Phenomanal talent.

It was a team effort after those two.Everybody chipped in when it was there turn.Reckon Teague couldn't be more impressive from the moment he was given the gig.

I reckon he's gone past Sticks. He's almost up at the Mike Fitzpatrick level.

Yeah but, yeah but ...
“Carlton got it wrong with pick 1 and should have taken Rozzee”.

The Port kid can play but geez, Walsh is phenomenal - and just what we needed.

Really satisfying to see LOB justify his selection.

Now to back it up and gets off the bottom of this ^}€¥\?! ladder.

We butchered it something rotten at times, especially in the first half, but I was impressed by the resilience of the players to keep cracking in until the tide turned. That hasn’t always been the case this season, and it will be interesting to see if we can maintain it from here.

We still had to rely on some individual brilliance from our skipper, but it was hard to find a bad Carlton player after halftime. Harry & Cunners are two that I would like to see impact more consistently, but overall it was a good team effort against a side that’s been playing well.

As others have said, it was the best games so far from Gibbons & O’Brien. It’s a shame for LOB he got hurt late, fingers crossed it’s a minor injury.

Cripps, Walsh, Weitering = outstanding. Kreuzer, E Curnow, Marchbank & Plowman = did really good jobs for us.

We need to back it up next week, like NM did last night. Otherwise, it means nothing IMO.

+1 to kh and Mick

Just enjoyed the replay. Phenomenal these two players. We're privileged to have them in dark navy.

The lions will be snarling at that loss and they'll come at us at our next meeting no doubt. I reckon the blues and lions are going to have a great rivalry over the next 10 yrs.

i don't understand why some supporters try and pick negatives after an extremely positive result. just enjoy the win for gods sake and try and see the light.
yes, we butchered plenty of the ball early but importantly heads never dropped, the boys persisted and we came back from 37 points down.
just think about that...we managed to come back from 37 points down against an opponent who was more fancied & realistically playing for a top 4 spot
we came back from 37 points down even though we'd won 4 games in 40+. i think all this tells you the players have plenty of mental strength
i think this sort of win can build belief long term. see positive...not that hard

It's because we love the win but realise there is room for improvement.
A great win for sure but it wasn't without its issues.

Take that paper into the dunny and give it a good read. Then you can wipe your bum with my post calling for Bolton's head a few weeks back.

You'll find It's twin ply and nice and soft   .

Why? We ditched him, not the other way 'round.

One of the criticisms of Bolton that I thought was valid was his match day coaching. In particular a seeming reluctance to move a tag to a dominant player.

Well done to today's coaching staff for moving Curnow to Neale. I thought that probably made the difference.

BigKev, nothing to do with us being his ex club, more him being a total tool. Watch the “suck my dick” bake he gives Levi when McStay kicks the first in the 3rd quarter.

Not the first and won't be the last. Andrews is a monster and will be one the all time great defenders the game has seen....Now how do we get him to Carton....

I thought from mid way through the third Harry did well. Got on his bike a bit more.

Agreed.
Also I doubt the Western Bulldogs will again play as poorly as they did against us earlier in the year. Big game coming up.

Easier said than done.
Over the past month his heart hasn't been in it IMO.
