Pros:

Finally, some encouragement, after a pretty bleak month.
Effort, and attractive ball movement.
Cripps, Ed, Walsh and Gibbons. Makes a difference having some more hardened bodies around the ball.
Weiters and Charlie were good.
Probably LOB's best game.
Encouraging performances again from Cuningham and Dow.

Cons:

Twice we should have rushed the ball over the goal line, and conceded unnecessary goals.
Some of the play on from marks/frees in the first half was reckless. Ended up running straight into tacklers.
Harry was towelled up by Harris Andrews.
Liked to see a little more from SPS and Fisher.
That was Andrews worst game in the past 6 weeks. I thought Harry did a number on him.
Pity he missed the goal

Finally got a win at the footy with the family. It’s been a while and I won’t lie, I shed a tear in the end.
It’s been just a bloody frustrating time. This group can play!

Teageys Press conference. Again very impressive. He looks like a solid 10 hours sleep wouldn't do him any harm.

Very, very genuine and honest. I believe that he truly believes he has the cattle.

What a game by Gibbons.

Agree - he was terrific. Now play him as a midfielder full time. When you look at it we has four stars in the midfield today. Cripps, Walsh, Gibbons and Ed Curnow. What a difference it makes.

Absolutely.
His quick clean hands in close are valuable. A full pre-season will do him wonders.

Still struggling for pace after the knee reconstruction and not confident with his kicking. Was looking to pass off from 45m early on, kicked it and didn't make the distance. Will be a better player next year. Has the talent.

I've never wanted an AFL player to get seriously hurt as much as this bloke. Like busted windpipe hurt. He's going to act like his head is being taken off so why not actually do it.

Unbelievable isn’t it? This game of ours.

It really is about emotion for us supporters, we’re not decision makers we have no responsibility so it’s really about embracing the times that make us feel good and showering in all those feel good moments that make us sport fans in the first place.

Tonight I’m feeling good and I’m embracing it.

Cheers blue baggers.

Why? We ditched him, not the other way 'round.

One of the criticisms of Bolton that I thought was valid was his match day coaching. In particular a seeming reluctance to move a tag to a dominant player.

Well done to today's coaching staff for moving Curnow to Neale. I thought that probably made the difference.

It’s apparent to me now and I reflect on my own professional life working with young people and its they need confidence, encouragement and enablement. Tinker with it when they are more mature.

I loved Cripps special goal, he took them all on and banged it through. I loved Charlie’s long bomb and I loved seeing Paddy Dow be creative, especially his side step to kick it to a dangerous position for Cripps to mark. Obrien had a couple of flangers but he got a fair bit of it!

I’m under no illusions of thinking we can bring this every week however I’ll enjoy tonight.

Playing players in their best positions helps.

Bolts never would of changed it up to tag Neale

Hopefully his kicking improves over a full pre season but yes a lot of tools to work with

When was the last time we beat Fitzroy?

Couldn’t agree anymore. How good was it looking at us in our full blooded navy blue gear. Nothing better.
