Apparently our kicking was rated at 71%?

Didn't seem so.

Still feel bittersweet after such a tough week. That one's for Bolts - this team has always been there. But now we move on.

Patrick Cripps isn't mortal. Absolutely Herculean effort. Marc Murphy has been a loyal servant and I'll never speak ill of him, but we now have a man who every opposition club would agree is a true captain's captain.

First steps. Go Blues.

Improvement in skills across the team, in direct proportion to enjoying playing the game. Great lift boys!
Success breeds success, and these kids enjoyed themselves today - first time for a long time.
Apart from the obvious - you know who I mean - great effort by O'Brien and Marchbank and some of the lesser lights today.
Not too many passengers after 1/4 time.

Took two out of three kids along, both hating life early. Promised them we'd come back and did we what.

Backed us at over 15 points.... Typical

Super effort from Ed Curnow on Neale after HT.

Think Neale had 25 to HT then 6 in the second half.

Weitering very good....even Casboult a decent a game. Marchbank took some intercept marks too.

Charlie finding form.

I walked out to do the gardening when we were six goals behind. Just came in and saw the score. Can’t believe it.

Gotta watch the replay now.

Put your best tagged on their dominant mid. Sometimes coaching is very simple.

They nailed nearly all of them in the 2nd half to bump up the averages from the first half.

Used the computer. Just watched the first 20 min of the 3rd qtr and the last 4 min again. It even marks the points where the goals are kicked so you know where to scroll.

Pros:

Finally, some encouragement, after a pretty bleak month.
Effort, and attractive ball movement.
Cripps, Ed, Walsh and Gibbons. Makes a difference having some more hardened bodies around the ball.
Weiters and Charlie were good.
Probably LOB's best game.
Encouraging performances again from Cuningham and Dow.

Cons:

Twice we should have rushed the ball over the goal line, and conceded unnecessary goals.
Some of the play on from marks/frees in the first half was reckless. Ended up running straight into tacklers.
Harry was towelled up by Harris Andrews.
Liked to see a little more from SPS and Fisher.
