The reason they put the Drugcheats first was to show a change in the order. Blues go from second to first. However, it is technically incorrect. Blues are equal first, not second |

Whatever way the VFA premierships we’re determined between 1870 to 1896 is irrelevant- the fact that the VFA was the premier football competition at the time and that premiership was the highest award that a football club could win is the most relevant point. |

The strongest advocate for this thing would be the AFL marketing department. If the start of the timeline was to go back to 1870, then 2020 would be 150 years... must be something coming up next year that needs a distraction. |
