I’ve been to Hollywood, I’ve been to Redwood.
I’ve crossed the ocean for a heart of Teague.
I’ve been in my mind, it’s such a fine line
that keeps me searchin’ for a heart of Teague. :smoking:

Is there a source on this?

I suspect that was a joke.
Although, I think I heard Caro say, with a certain tone, that Voss hasn’t had a call back.
And both her and Hutchy seemed to be much softer on their views from last week that Teague would probably not get the job.

So, what has changed since last week? Maybe:
1) Clarkson must have said no
2) The Carlton faithful are getting behind Teague (e.g. at the 1979 reunion)
3) Decision makers are happy with how we’ve played against Richmond, backing up with a similar kind of performance against West Coast... the two premiership favourites.

And assuming that at least some key people at the club were not convinced by Voss’s presentation.
I don’t know any of the above and still believe that we’ll wait until the end of the season.
BUT, if a decision is going to be announced this week, these points might explain why.

Maybe Caro has no idea?

Well I guess we won't be getting Coniglio then.
I hope this is not true and we at least wait until the end of season.

Would you like a wager on that?
That's not a view i share

I don't bet on unknowns but thanks for the offer.
I guess we will all know soon enough (fingers crossed), at least Barass has said it won't be the Hawks.

Good luck finding something to bet on then.

I guess it's who you know and not what you think you know, hey windy.
Ever notice how some punters always seem to make money.

Unless it is impeding our ability to attract players, I fail to see any benefit in appointing anyone at this point.

The “I’m not playing under that Clarkson cauliflower!” clause?

I agree, the Saints game is massive, won't want to get smashed by the Saints.

What's the rush, at the moment there is only one other senior coach vacancy and I doubt the Saints are going to pinch him from us before the seasons done.

I would like to see some development in some of the younger guys, no doubt he has rejuvenated the place but there is heaps of work to be done. I think it's a package deal regardless who we get we need some good assistants around the senior guy. Caracalla would have been a good get.

If the outcome was known, there would be no market for it.

But by all means, get the last word in as you always do.

agree with BV wouldn't do it until the end of the season unless it impinged on getting both internal or external signatures of players and particularly on would be externals

Clearly not getting it.

And last word, really?.......pfffft!
Don't make comment then if you don't want a response. But hey, if you prefer a sniping role, then it's probably best to chose another target.

I agree.

And without knowing, maybe Clarko has absolutely ruled himself out now and then there would be no reason to delay it.

It could be good motivation for a win this weekend on top of Cripps 100th too.
