Above all, the premium should be on their ability to manage people & delegate.

Caracella for example might be a great tactician but is he up to being a head coach? Hickey was an awesome player & has an impressive record at West Coast. But do we even know if he has ambitions to coach

Etc.

I believe our current game plan was sourced from Werribee...

Just advertise the position and see who applies. After a thorough interview and background check pick the best of the applicants. Put 'em on a performance based contract. Big dollars for meeting an agreed win-loss ratio, not so much for falling short. Have a get out clause for falling short.

Never, ever forget what that grub did to Ian Aitken. In a @#$%&! exhibition match for christ sake. That sort of leopard doesn't change his spots.

He isn't hebe all and not he only qualified coach out here.

He hasn't won a final without Hodge Mitchell Lewis...says it all.

Interesting I was talking to a Dees supporter today who said the 2 worst things he has ever seen in footy was the hit on Aitken in an exhibition which disgusted the poms too, and the other was stacking the backline and putting 4 players on Fev when he was on 99 goals.

I don't want Clarkson. He is an enemy of Carlton Football Club. Class one animal.

Quick, email the club in case they haven’t thought of that.

Clarkson ... but i just dont think it will happen.

I am really warming to Ratts ... on so many levels. Always had the thought that he was shafted .. took us to a prelim, in sydney that we lost by 2 points? not sure how you go from that ... to getting sacked etc..

Considering everything else, i think he ticks all the boxes.

We played three Elimination Finals and one Semi Final under Ratts for a total of one Elimination Final win.

All on the back of Chris Judd.

If people are fed up with Bolts management speak then I’m not sure returning to Ratt’s stats is what we really want.

1 player does not make the difference ... see Patrick Cripps.

Ratts had a shocking list ... absolutely dreadful.

Has only received praise since leaving.

Other than Clarkson ... the best choice by a long long way.

No we do dont CK95, your post is totally correct , but that is the problem with keyboard coaches, they live in there own fantasy land! They actually believe the crap that they post! Then a poster takes them to task they want them banned from the forum!
They actually think and enjoy banning a poster from a keyboard coaching forum as devastating for the poster who got banned, think again!!

They have no idea what coaching is all about, and have never had that experience!

Click Bait, welcome to TC!!

We just handed the keys to a bloke whose AOR had 50 inside 50s for four goals. :donk:

Despite his coaching record at Brisbane, this guy has a lot of football knowledge and coaching experience gained at a number of AFL clubs. He is currently Power mid field coach.

He was also a captain and tough footballer in a multi premiership winning side

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Voss

I suspect he would shake up this football club.

Cheers for now

My preference would be

1. Clarkson
2. Ratten
3. Voss

Just my opinion  Thats what we do on here ...
