Why would you bring Obrien back in.
Clean out the whole coaching panel at year's end.
I would rather have left Kennedy in or play Schumacher.
Obrien has had plenty of chances..

I don't understand why they keep selecting him.

Maybe he will be allowed to play his natural game? Need his disposal inside 50 as well.

Socker, as channel 9 listed him, is quite ironic then :-)

Good for Teague he won't have the 3rd least experienced team of any 22 this year out there on Saturday.

Is he related to a board member?

if I had seen that team in round 1, I would have thought - ok - not a bad side.
Now I have absolutely no idea...

I would too.

I thought LOB was going to step up from last year.
He's not even ready. Needs another preseason in the gym.

Newman has been disappointing last 3 weeks.

Jones and Docherty the only important names missing....and Betts

This is the week we needed Kennedy.
Robinson and Zorko are both tough and Kennedy could at leat have matched them in the midfield for that.
Zorko loves playing against us. Ed has to go with him.
Put Walsh on Neale. he has the tank and will learn a lot.

To be quite truthful, I was hoping for something a bit more than the ins we got.
Back to the future.
We will be criticised for putting Thomas beck in after one week, although at least he has been playing good footy.
I would have liked Garlett to gt a run up front. One thing this team does not have is X factor and it's one thing he does have.

We will know this week if it was BB or the players. If they turn on some insipid trash like they have been over the last month, they can GAGF.

This week there are some non-negotiables:
Effort
Tackles
Maintain the team structure

You don't have to be stars to do that, you just have to be trying.
Add a bit of flair and joy into them and we have the start of something.

Agree with you the Club’s added some needed experience, Thomas and Simpson and some edge in Skill and hardness with Gov.
But, O'Brien, Walsh Dow and SPS will be thumped again.
What will it take for selectors realize we’re sacrificing our youngsters.

I'll not criticise any selections until I see how Teague uses them.

Then I reserve the right to unleash.

When has Walsh been "thumped"?

O'Brien has been very average in the two's sends the wrong message, he not even on the bench, he's first team action.
Goddard deserves a run, not even listed as an emergency, he can't be any worse at watching his opponent mark the ball, whilst falling over, than Clangers Plowman or Marchbank.

Yes when was there last any significant competition for spots in the team?

So many players gifted games because there simply isn't anyone else.

We'll see about the roughing up. If it happens once, I would love to see Kruez and Caz at the same time in the square. Line up at the bounce and go thru a few players. Let the opposition know we not intimidated even if we are small

Cheers

I'd like to see him given a run as ruck-rover resting in the back pocket. If it works we might be on the way to winning the 1996 flag to back up last year's effort

Good to see some of our past players attending training today, including our mate Jarrod Waite.
