A lot to like about Phil Davis.
Nice moment with Crippa.

We had injuries.

Murphy was the difference.

We didn't use the wind well.

We don't know the ground well.

The players were tired after an admirable loss last week. A let down was inevitable.

Pros:
Harry, Newman and McGovern.
I think we now know the midfield problem isn't just a ruck problem. 'We don't play well, when Kreuzer is out.' Etc.
I think we now the defensive issues we sometimes have aren't all due to Plowman.
At least we haven't saved up one of our stinkers for one of our winnable games.

Cons:

Unwillingness to tackle.
We seem to have reached 'tipping' point again. Not enough senior bodies. And pretty poor effort from those who were available.
It's one thing to pour games into young talent. But the coaches' stubbornness about not playing Ed in midfield may cost him his job.
LOB has talent, but he was pretty embarrassing today. Same with MacReadie.
Phillips and Lobbe have copped some flak this year. Kreuzer deserves the same today. He looked a bit like Murphy often does, as though he was trying to prevent getting hurt/injured.

Insipid performance. So soon after the North debacle. That’s damning.

Can’t be mitigated imho.

Crisis time, again.

On a personal level, can’t endure much more. Hurts too much. Asking my 14 year old to ‘stick fat’ after everything the club have put him through is bordering on child abuse. My head says to cut him free but the heart won’t let me. Carlton is our thing. Our connection. Our bond. And this @#$%&! club continues to torture us.

So depressed.

Why did we get rid of Kerridge? I knew that decision would come back and bite us on the behind.

We kept the margin lower than the last time we met, and they had more fit players left at the end of this game.

the lack of pressure from the 1st qrt and for the whole game was woeful.

How the hell did we win the free kick count 21-16
