Nice fella. We had a laugh.
Couldn't believe what we just went through.

Then there was more of the same, although we kicked 3 in the 3rd. Nice.

Sat behind the goals: Cheer squad end for the kids. Prefer the wing.
Female Carlton supporter in front of me.
She had her family front and square either side.
Was nice to be amongst brethren.
Strange, she didn't like me calling the umpire a suck, and that I was too loud.
I'm loud, coz Im barracking for Carlton and I'm at the footy, not in front of aTV.
Why the @#$%&! do you sit behind the goals amongst the cheer squad at the footy.

I was nice and apologised then remained quiet for the rest of the game, having the odd chat with my 11 and 15 yo.
Was a terrible evening.

i cant believe this is what Carlton has become?
The cheer squad were amusing for the kids, and me after half time.

Putrid....but I saw GWS do the same to Swans at the SCG a couple weeks prior.
They should win the flag. We are trying to get off the bottom.

Felt like men against boys. Fisher and SPS were tiny against them when in the midfield. SPS handles them ok but doesnt dominate.
De Boer crosses the line. Can see why players are uptight with DeBoar and umpires letting him hold players.
Cripps looked like someone was trying to rape or wrap themselves around him.
Eyes on Cripps not the ball. Hello umpire?

Shut down Cripps and you shut down Carlton.
Who will step up?
you must have been on the right . I was on the left of the cheer squad with my mates. My family and the nephew of a Carlton TOC player. Very disappointing night more so no one to that piece of shit mumforfd out. @#$%&! dog of a player

Sorry, last point.

Does Mumford get off because he’s a good bloke and someone wants a beer with him?

Late hit on a player who did not have the ball and took him out of the game. This from a player with priors.

Should be simple. I said, SHOULD.

Simple as that.

Took him out.

I knew what was coming after that.

Sorry but let's not sugar coat it. He is a drug [REDACTED] cauliflower who had a long term injury and retired to avoid charges and has been welcomed back with open arms. The afl is taking the piss. Not like gws don't have history of being a protected species when drugs r involved.

Nice catching up with you Bondi
It is a pity they dished this up.
Keep coating that sugar

I went to the game hoping for an honourable loss but you could tell watching them in the warm up it was going to be a dirty day

Thanks Bolton time to go 4 years and
not 1 player has improved you are just not
a AFL coach absolutely clueless

Leaders such as Cripps, Simpson, Curnow and Docherty escape the criticism Murphy copped for bad performances from the 22. Docherty isn't playing, yet Bolton, SOS, Lloyd and Liddle aren't the only personnel and leaders responsible for changing the culture. Players have to step up and take as much as responsibly as Taranto and their youth did today.

Who is responsible for physically and mentally preparing the players ?
Crippa can not do any more than what he has.
Doc, well, he can’t help having wonky knees
Ed is being played out of place
Bolton has a hard bodied mid in Kennedy and a mid/forward in Lang playing decently in the 2s, but sticks with his favourites in O Brien and Gibbons.
Can’t blame the players for any of this

My Hawks mate said that Clarko never runs hard tags and suspects that Bolts - being from the Waverley factory - won't do it either. He's probably right. I'd rest Walsh this week...the lad is looking tired. Bring in Kennedy and maybe Lang if he's ready. LOB isn't ready for senior footy yet, he just gets brushed aside too easily.

Dow & O'Brien are beginning to show that they are First Round duds. They are not developing into anything... I can not see any progress with them.

Is it going to take them at least 5-6 years to mature? we just can't afford that long to wait...

There was no effort today. No one wanted to tackle and apply pressure. We are back where we started last year!

We thought the heavy losses are behind us....So what has changed??

1 Win from 10 games is no better than last year, despite the fact we are playing with so many new faces. This tells me that the issue is a lot deeper than personnel. The Coach has to be looked at!

Haven’t watched the game but the result doesn’t surprise me
Stop Cripps and there is not much else .
So sad
I maintain our recruiting and list management is below par

Sacking Bolton will solve nothing
Silvagni is a protected species because of what he did as a player
and his surname
The board appointed him
They need to go as well

About time someone put the torch on SOS. Just to be fair. The GWS experiment has been a bust all things considered. A few moderate wins but the majority have been fails. Irrespective of the fact some cost little to acquire the reality is there's not one star out of the lot. But he will blame the coach and the lack of development. It'll be The Club all over again.

And the club stripped the list back too far. Not enough hard bodies. Robbo mightn't have been a good kick but his hardness would be handy now protecting Cripps. Stupid club Carlton, have gone too hard on an old and outdated list management strategy of kids kids kids.

And to top it off we've got an old stager sitting in the corner observing but even he has admitted he doesn't know modern footy and needed to be brought up to speed.

We are still off the pace. By about a half decade actually.

You're not far wrong. They'll probably each receive the same amount of weeks for 2 incidents that are light years from one another.

Watch that shut dribbler Michael Christian spout some babble about the AFL wanting to send out a message to youngsters playing Football about jumper punches and some crap about Mumford incident being an unfortunate accident that is “part and parcel of AFL”.

Great idea, but I’ll put a few dollars on us picking up a forward pocket or kid.

We’re the only team who doesn’t take a risk on ball magnets from second tier comps.

Like a Gibbons for example....

The bloke (whoever it was) should be fined for acting for the free kick..

Dropped to the ground as if shot, rubbing his chin after.
