Good rant but I can totally understand how frustrated these players must be. Only human...getting smashed..
Humiliated week after week. Umpiring has not gone our way, especially last week. Yep, I can see why he snapped. Not a good choice but I get it.

Same. My husband told me on Sunday I should stop watching Carlton games and find another interest.

Same. My kids wonder why I keep watching Carlton games. They see me get annoyed, disappointed and despondent :hitcomputer:

My wife went overseas for two weeks leaving me a 16 month old, 4 year old and 6 year old.
House daddy.
My first night off was Sunday night. So i went to the footy to unwind. Burst a gasket in the first qtr. Left at half time.
Got home just in time to clean my toddler sons bum and put him to bed. It was poo all around on Sunday night. Glad to be back at work on Monday.

I'm done.
There is no hope unless we change the coach.
It is heartbreaking.

All these Sunday games don't help.
Sick of being extra sad on Sunday night.

You can just watch it unfold.
Big effort for 10 to 15minutes and get a few goals . Then it is like what are we doing again.

No direction and absolutely clueless.
Two players go for the ball instead of one providing a block.
Absolutely no run and spread

Just pitiful

It just hurts too much to watch. I have to flick the tv back and forth..and if opp. Gets ahead b more than A goal I feel completely sick.
Just have to switch off from thinking we can win games.

Better than having the whole weekend stuffed up.

It’s not as good as it seems. It’s not as bad as it seems.

It’s worse.

Despite the bests of intentions and trying to rebuild the right way, what if we have got it wrong? What if we don’t even get close to the sustained success we are building for?

Literally couldn’t sleep last night pondering this.

Genuinely fear for the club.

:yikes:

We’re [REDACTED] people. Might as well hand in the keys.

I stopped paying much attention to footy during the dregs of the Malthouse era. This is far, far sadder. I only listen on the radio while I'm doing something else. Even then I tune out when I can sense we haven't come to play. And that is pretty much every round.

Our games are dull and predictable. If you can't entertain you're finished.
