WTF Sydney Blue?. Yesterday’s result was not acceptable by any stretch.

such crap - Buckley will say what he needs to say for HIS players - he couldn't give a fig about us and ours - I'm guessing he is reminding his players how they lost the GF last year and trying to frame it for them as will - nothing to do with us.

We lost because we missed a shot they then kicked 2 rather flukey goals ( 1 touched?) and then Weitering made the poor error that got them the 3 goal and we dropped and they rose. We will get better but it is about getting better not about what the so called club says/doesn't say expects/ doesn't expect. You practice and practice and then you reach the next level by being able to execute that you have practiced under duress of real games, real moments, real pressure. That is our next step - perform under duress. So far we have failed with that step.

Then we (and I am sure we will) will learn that and the next lesson will be under pressure of finals.

We are getting closer, I watched the entire match and I was pretty tense.
We need to find that killer instinct and cut throat edge.
I rate us a real chance against GWS.
Apart from the North game we've been in all them except the Richmond game I think.
To really challenge and a scare a Premiership contention team and get that close shows heart.
I was filthy when the pies kicked the sealer with about 3 minutes to go, I walked out of the pub where the game was being shown.
I think that's our best performance of the year, yes even better the Doggies.
Having a healthy ruck is crucial for us, I imagine we go hard this year the next.
I think we are starting to see the light.
Flower the media they're beating us up because we are a big club, it's just click bait journalism.

Where I struggle with this rebuild and have all along.
Is why bring in players like Palmer Sumner Fasolo and not play them
Bolton appears he'll bent on throwing lambs to the wolves.
If it was truly a rebuild you bring young ones in give a taste then let them master their craft in the two's .
Allow the season bodies to take heat off them and bring the kids in for couple and then out.

It makes no sense at all as to why we have recruited some of these players.
It can't be good for them or the rest of the morale around the club

Nice post I reckon we had them too ... plenty of heart. Against Richmond we had: 44 more possessions 4 more clearances They had 11 more I 50's 10 more hit outs 3 goals to their ruckman Nankervis. Reckon we would have beaten Tigers if Kreuzer was rucking. Would have won handsomely if Williamson or Docherty instead of Garlett, let alone Jack instead of the unproven out of form Fasolo. Marchbank was out too That was my misery.... so close...

Lang Kennedy and Goddard should have played. We might not of won but we would have been more competitive and protected the likes Macreadie and LOB from these demolitions and got them to find touch against an ordinary Frankston. It's all about building confidence and belief being exposed to belting just because we want games into youth does no one any good. The club has been in crisis for a while Collectively we chose to accept that the club was doing the right thing and rebuild our list from scratch All sounds great in theory but the execution has been awful Hanging our hopes on GWS players such as Plowman, Pickett, Kennedy, Marchbank etc has been folly I feel the supporters have been too patient this time round The club has literally achieved nothing for the last five years

Abusing a boundary umpire. If that's the standard of leadership then we're going nowhere. If I'm Bolton I'm dropping Thomas for that and if he doesn't like it he can retire. Leadership isn't just about keeping the vibe up at training, or winning the summer time trials every week and looking like tarzan, or telling the players on Monday mornings what to have for breakfast and how much sleep to get. Leadership is competing ferociously each game you run out. Rant over.
