To the contrary Schumacher is much more a running type that Macreadie who is 6cm taller and more an intercept marking type defender. Schu doesn't play as tall as his 192cm frame might suggest - in fact I was surprised to see he is recorded at that height.

Exactly. He is more a Simpson, Daisy, Doc, Newman, Williamson type rather than a Weitering, Marchbank, Macreadie, Plowman type. I guess plowman maybe falls somewhere in between. He’s going well and he’ll get his chance

Thanks Gents! I haven't seen him play.... Makes the decision (ABNS alluded to) even more perplexing

I know I’ve had a beer or two, but I reckon Macreadie will have a Docherty-like impact on the team if he gets a run at it. As in, he’ll be that good. So. Yeah.

Happy to see the other Harry make it back into the team. I've been a fan from early on so hopefully he can build from here and cement his spot.

Like the 'ins.Good luck Mac.Good to see him back coz i reckon like Willo he has got something.............as far as the game goes, big ask up there. But not mission impossible. For mine, its gonna be about want. They will come out all gun's blazing to redeem themselves. And that will be our test.Do we really want it ? this game is gonna tell us more about us than them..................go in hard boys, match 'em.Got faith in you guys, show us what you are made of.Us in an epic do or die struggle.

Really glad to see Harry Mac return to the team.

He has an opportunity to make his mark and make a spot his.
If he continues where he left off a couple of years ago the competition for spots will heat up

I love his attacking mindset.
He knows how to win the ball in the air and on the ground.
I've always viewed him as the future, and I hope I'm right.

Looking forward to going to Giants Stadium. Love it. Its so boutique.

If our boys come to win, they just might despite the fact the Giants will want to redeem for their last outing.

Backline still looks good.

Come on Kreuzer...it all starts with you!

Late changes looming? 3 Emergencies held over for the Blues. Lochie O'Brien, Matt Kennedy and Jarrod Garlett all appear to have made the flight to Sydney. Alex Fasolo the only listed Blues emergency lining up in the VFL this week for the Northern Blues #AFLGiantsBlues

Great.
Charlie looked a bit sore last week as did Fisher.
Hopefully it is not either or both of them.

Great to see Harry in the side

Getting games into our young guys, but not rushing any of them into the team for the sake of it. Mr Russell at work.

Expect GWS to hit us very hard after their "no show" last week. 4-5 goal loss is my guess.

Maybe Newman didn’t come up?

The result depends on which Carlton turns up

Odd for an interstate game (local one too)...
Tells us that there are a few under a cloud... probably two... Plus one as a spare....
I hope it's not Fisher and Curnow.... Any reports from the training today?

Is Coniglio sitting out this game so he can watch us play before signing with us next year ? Wishful thinking ?

Maybe he's not the big fish we are trying to land.

One training watcher reports they couldn't see Cuningham there.
