Ordinary every day Collingwood members that admitted the umpires handed them the match, tell me their names and addresses.

I don't care if bagging umpires is seen as letting the team off the hook, or it's poor form, or some other shite.
I don't care if we supposedly tried playing keepings off too soon, or made stupid, nervous brainfade mistakes at the end.

Yes, we did everything possible to throw away a perfectly winnable game a few weeks ago against GC.
That team didn't turn up today. We thoroughly deserved to win and were shafted. Our momentum was killed at the end today, as it had been all day, by atrocious one-sided umpiring. Get off your high horses and join the jeers - and I'll stand by this even if we don't turn up next week a la NM - the team in green absolutely cost us the game today. So easy for the more experienced side to clunk a few at the end when they know they can do no wrong. Unlike last week, the score didn't flatter us but the opposition. They got out of jail and the green brigade handed them the keys.

If only for that reason, the hatred is well and truly back. The Filth and their 'I was only wearing my master-entertainer hat' prez and their 'we wanted it more and no other reason' coach can GAGF.

There have been plenty of weeks for getting dirty on the players or the coach or both, but this one's not it.

No, I couldn't see us throwing this one away when we were ten points up. Our failure wasn't as predictable this time round because we were definitely up for it. It had to be taken from us, and it was, and not in a particularly just manner. Absolutely robbed.

Yours,
Disgusted

I love this post.

Feel he same way.

Proud of our boys.

Ripped off by the umpires.
Not one person I know, including Pies supporters feel the Pies got the rub of the [men in] green.

Is there any Carlton supporter who doesn't believe the umpires failed to pay obvious 3-4 obvious decisions which should have gone Carlton's way in the last, resulting in goals to Pies and cost Carlton a goal which may have been the sealer?

You read a lot of dumb shit on forums. This is a chart topping example.

Yep this one takes the cake for mine.

You've got to admire his commitment to the Haiku-style format he's posting in though

I haven't heard that one.

If true, where is the turncoat so I can give him a piece of my mind. Prick.

If he dared to be critical of the umpires or the AFL the weak prick would probably be denied the free pies, sausage rolls & scones with jam & cream served up by the AFL during matches

FWIW - Plowman suffered a fractured cheekbone late in the game.

In its self, that gives us reasonable grounds to ask the AFL to clarify why no free kick was paid...

Sam McClure is a Carlton supporter?
Isn’t he on SEN for the drive home?
FMD - he sounds like a Aints man who hates us with a passion!

You have summed up my feelings perfectly.
I have been filthy since Saturday, I watched the replay and got angry all over again.
Everything about the AFL shits me at the moment.
From the corrupt commission to the comical MRO to the blatant favouring of certain teams.
Why in the hell were Carlton captain club members denied access to their social rooms for a home game?
I am disgusted with our treatment. I am disappointed we just take it and say nothing.
The AFL can get stuffed.
