As much as it hurts, will be a invaluable lesson as to what it takes to back up each week.

No excuse by F@#K me the umps have it in for us.

Bolts I will pay the fine, just tell the media how much easier it is to get on top when the umps protect the hawks

True when it is said footy is played 90% above the shoulders.

That is what lost it for us today.

Hawks had belief, we did not. Simple.

33 points up Harry misses a shot if he nailed it should have been game over.

Then we stopped

Can't help but wonder if Murph has played in too many losing games. A couple of times in the last we had a quick break until he got it. Instead of moving forward he just stopped and eventually went sideways. Momentum killer.

Also ... umpiring terrible.

should hold on from that position but Simpson, Newman and Kreuzer were huge absentees in that last quarter.

Did we get a free in the 2nd half?

I'm sure we did but I can't remember one...

Disappointing that you cough up a 5 goal lead

Terrible third quarter no composure and no grit

Always lose those games not tough enough when it counts and play into the other teams hands

Got to get more ruthless

Good that we played well with Cripps well held

Didn’t help Kreuz was off most of last half of quarter

Second half need to be more solid and not go into our shell
Should go to the umpires boss and understand why they had double the free kicks
McGovern and H faded badly
Certain inevitability about a close loss because we continue to lose them
Simpson Kreuz being off at end wasn’t great

Need Setterfield or Kennedy as another extractor

I think the HTB rule will eventually disappear.
Either you have prior or you don't and if you do, getting knocked out in the tackle is not the right call.
Plowman tackled someone on the boundary in the last and he went a full circle, missed the ball with his attempt at a handball and it went for a score.

Extremely disappointing loss. I am numb to losing these days, but that hurt.

Is this Murphs last year?

Bathwater was definitely consumed during half time.

Plowman was one of our best in my view so don’t think he was the reason we lost

Team effort if you cough up a 5 goal lead not ruthless enough and not polished enough when it counts and don’t know how to win nor close out the close matches
More pain to be endured this year where we are in winnable position but lose it

I'm angry and frustrated but there has been a big lift in the past few weeks so I have to be satisfied, I suppose.
Just so, we let that one get away from six goals up at half time.
Hard to cop that.

Now I have to try and go to sleep at 3:21 a.m. and my adrenaline running riot.
