When I watch Charlie Curnow play up forward, missing marks and kicks for goal, he seems like a racehorse that has yet to be gelded, playing him in the midfield may be his gelding, then in time he can learn to play forward or mid.

What better opportunity than this week against the Hawks

We have not beaten the Hawks since the 87 GF.

Huge game now. If we can win this we’re a massive chance to knock off North and go 3-4. Who would have thought that a week ago. I reckon we can beat them in the middle and I think our tall forwards can give them a real headache if they continue leading hard at the ball carrier like last week. They’re a bit light on for key defenders. Stratton will probably be back but he’s way undersized for McKay and even Curnow if he’s back. Haven’t seen much of Brand
