Pros:

A win. A comfortable win. The ton.
Timely for Dow to get us the ton.
Much smarter ball use today.
Nice to be on the right side of goalkicking accuracy for once.
Going to take some pressure off the club for a bit.
SPS, Cripps and Harry.
Another encouraging performance from Gibson. Good to see him get some midfield time. Good to see him get a goal.
Kreuzer made a difference. Although Bulldog rucks are fairly ineffective.

Cons:

Still wasting opportunities in attack. Easy dropped marks. Easy misses. Terrible options.

Gee that was bloody good to watch.
Let's hope that this is the beginning of a long winning streak.
Best game I have seen from Casboult.
SPS come of age

It was like watching a mirror image. Us slick, quick, fast, hands, quick ball movement, generally good skills, the other side working, poor skills, inefficient movement, bombing into the F50. The other side trying to fight back hard, not scoring, then we get them on the rebound, quick movement and score a couple against the run.

Make such a wonderful change. This is what I wanted 4th year in with a very good young side.

Hopefully the confidence booster we needed to kickstart the season

I didn't have any lunch. Surely I've got to get some credit for that!

Absolutely rapted. For EVERYONE. Players, coaches, administrators, members and supporters.

Reward for effort, finally.

Hopefully the start of a few more W’s.

No detailed commentary for now. Just want to enjoy a quality performance.

If anyone has a right to deliver the surliest of surly Malthouse-style bake pressers to the media today, it's Bolts.

Comprehensively belted the Dogs across the park, a number of breakout games for our young guns and career best performances. "Ohhh they need to kick 100 or it'll be heartbreaking, it's been 3 years since they've done it," then without a hint of irony, "I wonder if the supporters know how long it's been?"

How could we forget?! You never f...ing shut up about it! Enter Sam Walsh to shove it right up your salivating clackers on the buzzer. Disgusting performance by the media this year so far, they deserve their right whack.

Mission accomplished. A win on the board, off the bottom of the ladder and the train's rolling.

Bolts will take this win with humility and move on to the next game. "Don't get too high, don't get too low."

Screw the haters, he's the right man for the job. Go Blues!

Pro: The shock on that cauliflower face when McLean had two obvious free kicks not paid to him.

Ed Curnow has the heart of a lion but just can't be in the side when we push up the ladder, terrible kick and average decision maker

From the first centre break out of the Middle we played a different brand today. Lowered the eyes and didn't just bomb. Took the game on much more. Didn't always work but so much better then our conservative style.

My Dawks mate sent me a text during the game....said H is a thoroughbred. Will only get better and better. Levi was terrific today, and having Charlie out actually may have helped our balance.

Samo was superb and really played to his ability. Fish was great in the 2nd half

Playing Gibbo on the ball a lot more helps him get into the game. Building a very good midfield. Get Setterfield and Kennedy in there and real depth.

And bugger 100....we got 101

To me, having a winning ruckman gave SPS, Cripps and Fisher the opportunity to play attacking football and wasn't it great to watch. Good game back Kreuzer. Good game boys!!

Great to see them get that winning feeling

Hope Bolton sticks to his mantra of never too high or too low. Hawks, kangas...we should be aiming for 3 in a row

Thank Goodness. Great win. Structure forward with Casboult and McKay looked the best yet. Smashed a well credentialed midfield. Excellent game with great run and carry.

I have a tear.
McKay is the key forward we’ve been searching for.
If SPS can maintain this kind of form, we will have a formidable midfield together with Cripps, Walsh, Fisher & Dow (when he starts hitting his targets).
And then hopefully Setterfield and Kennedy can join in too.
Still need a long term ruckman.

The transition was much better but there were still several times where McKay & Casboult went for the same ball - it’s just that this week one of them marked it instead of spoiling each other, so something still to work on.

The very best part for me was the four quarter effort and concentration.
And the win.

We're above Adelaide, at least for now...lol.

Yep. Quite amazing they managed that without a coach too.
