seems fair.

Brisbane in 2018 won five games and finished with a percentage of 89.1. Consider that the accurate measurement of where Carlton should be this year.

A pass mark for the Blues in 2019 is not measured in wins and losses, but simply remaining competitive in every game and pinching a few when everything clicks.

This is likely the final year where Carlton can get away with that, though.

Good comparison. Very fair indeed.

You would expect Murphy to be a midfield player. I hope he does. We need him in the guts not on the periphery.

You'd also think Marc's body is seasoned and conditioned for the physicality of senior AFL...why else would he sign on?

We need Marc to win a few more hard balls, tackle with intent and hit his targets by foot: something he hasn't been doing in 2019.

Getting games into our under 25s is vital.

The Gold Coast SUNS have made a change to the squad for this Sunday’s Round 4 match against Carlton at Metricon Stadium.
Lachie Weller has been withdrawn from the team with Ben Ainsworth brought onto the extended bench.
“Unfortunately for Lachie, he wasn’t able to complete today’s training session,” said General Manager of Football Operations, Jon Haines.
“He’ll go for scans later this afternoon on his hamstring and we’ll know more around his return to play after that.”
The Gold Coast SUNS will confirm the final 22 to take on Carlton at 5.00pm this afternoon on goldcoastfc.com.au.

Is it too late to get onto Ben Ainsworth for the Brad Moran?

Martin, Swallow and Sexton are the priorities. Witts is the main man but I cant see us controlling him.

Sorry, add Harbrow to that. They are dynamite at defensive rebounds and he loves to get on his own.
Maybe assign Gibbons the job.

The Gold Coast SUNS have made one change to the team to take on Carlton at Metricon Stadium on Sunday.

As reported by SUNS Media earlier today, Ben Ainsworth has replaced Lachie Weller in the side due to injury.

I suspect Stocker is being taken to the Gold Coast for the experience of being a travelling emergency, not really to play.

Wouldn't be surprised if there were late changes then.

Hope not, he needs game time.

Dunno, we don’t mind playing half fit players

Don't stress just yet, wouldn't be surprised if Curnow or McGovern don't get up.

That said, I don't actually hate the idea of Curnow not having to take a key post and being able to have a bit of freedom in the forward line. Could end up being the dynamic, De Goey type goal kicker we're crying out for.

Reckon we are gonna win this.We have the side.We have a backline that is combining well.We have potentially a great forward line that is due to click.............midfield ? same as the forward line really, that is,full of potential but not quite there yet.I feel that although Walsh is getting the accolades,Paddy Dow is just lurking in the background ready to announce himself to the footy world.Gotta hunch it is gonna fall into place on Sunday................PS....as one astute poster mentioned, sit on there running backs particularly Harbrow..............simple aint it.

Wouldn't be surprised if McGovern was a late withdrawal and is replaced by either Kennedy or JSOS.
