Expect Sydney to rebound.

Whatever they've shown so far this year, this club has shown itself to be of strong character over a long period of time.

Hopefully we clean 'em up anyway.

And we’re a team that everyone fancies themselves on the rebound.

The rumour around is that Heeney is carrying a chronic injury that prevents him playing midfield. Hence, permanent forward. Super talented. Still needs extra attention. Plowman my first option.

I'm glad LOB is back in, should improve our run and carry. I agree with Levi in for Charlie, it keeps McKay out of the ruck for the whole game which is good. It would've TDK if he wasn't injured but Casboult will help stretch the Sydney defence. Not sure about Marchbank coming straight back in even though I'm a big fan, hope they're doing the right thing here. Also glad Fasolo is out, he wasn't doing enough and can find some touch in the VFL if their season ever starts.

The only upside I can see with Levi is that it means he'll take those 7 minutes a quarter in the ruck and we can leave H forward.

Might have been inclined to take chance to go smaller and put Kennedy in.

Levi will ruck and is decent enough but not a real like for like replacement for Charlie.

Levi and LOB I get to replace Curnow and Fasolo.

Marchy for Garlett I don’t. He could do with some VFL and match sims, but we’re also too tall, and Weiters, Jones and Plow have been solid enough. And if he hurts himself I’ll @#$%&! flip.

Kennedy stiff, Cripps is going to get crunched in close by the Swans’ midfielders.

Happy with the changes but would have gone Kennedy for Levi.

He tore it up in the 2s last week and Cripps needs some help with the grunt work. Would also allow Cripps to take a spell up forward every now and then and still have a solid contested ball mid in at stoppages

The Levi selection surprises me. They must be very concerned about Harry as 2nd ruckman. Even so, is Levi really much better in that role? I would say he is better, but not significantly enough to justify his selection; Levi has been playing in defence in the VFL but I can’t see him there with Weitering, Jones, Marchbank & Plowman in the side - and the forward line looks top heavy if he plays alongside Harry & McGov.

No complaints about Garlett & Fasolo being dropped for LOB & Marchbank, but I would have had either SOJ or Kennedy as the other inclusion and eaten the 2nd ruck shortfall to get another medium sized midfielder/forward into the team.

When Marchbank got injured we was playing a half bank wingman role and was probably playing one of the best games I had seen from him.
He is the perfect replacement for Garlett.

Should have left Levi out and picked Kennedy. This would allow Cripps to play more forward.
Swans midfielders know Cripps is going to be at every centre bounce and 90 +% time on ground. They will rotate off him and work him over.

Yep. Not only with Marchbank are we too tall but he lacks match fitness. Wonder how the MC justifies having him in.

And Kennedy was BOG in the VFL last week. Not as if our young mids apart from Cripps can hold themselves together in close against the likes of Kennedy, Parker, Jones, and co.

I just wonder if Marchbank will be late withdrawal for Garlett or even JSOS.

That's 28 extra minutes a game that big H can kick goals

I agree so we'll just have to hope we are wrong. (with me the odds are probably very good)
