Not yet but there is something developing. We had the chances but not the poise to finish.

We just lost to the benchmark team. I’m not too fussed by the result. Inconsistency is more an issue.

Succumbed to the pressure in the last and were too scared to take risks. Also too many missed passes.
We had 9 oobotf. That's insane. the only time we even looked a chance was when we went inboard.

Not surprised at the result but disappointed that they couldn't run it out.

Young minds and bodies, the last quarter was a bridge too far.

Plenty to like about our game. Even with the fade out, it was scores level after quarter time. Our mids got plenty of good movement and lots of ball. Walsh had a stunning first 2.5 quarters. Setters quietly effective and ran the game out well. The two Macs with plenty of threat, and Newman was stunning. We will be a decent side this year.

A tale of 2 Carlton’s tonight.

1 which can be blown away with ease.
Another that can take it up to the best.

Not jumping for joy at ‘only’ losing by 5’ish goals, but not satisfied either. Just glad it’s done, and our new players will benefit from the experience.

Too many dumb mistakes and easy passes missed.
Curnow C needs a rocket up him. Has been drinking his own bath water it seems.

Don’t be too disheartened. In the first Quarter it looked like being an 80+ points thrashing.
Once we get more consistent and play four quarters we’ll be much better (hopefully).
