I am happy with the forward structure and the midfield is developing but the defense is a concern.
2 reject forwards trying to make it as backman.
2 old men
1 bloke who couldn't hit a barn door from 20 paces
1 bloke who is trying to over come the gremlins of last year

Meanwhile the blokes who should be there are sitting in sick bay with no sign of a return soon.

I hope we win but feel if the tigers mids get on top our defense will get smashed

That renewal expired pretty quickly

Wow Syd.....may as well give up on the season now !

Every Tiger interviewed tonite about Lynch playing said the same thing "we've got him for seven years" which means he ain't gonna play ?

I expect Cripps to take it up a notch and waltz out of the middle for most of the night with the 6 6 6 rule....35+ possies. They have a few outs, so reckon were a big show.

Baggers by 10 points.

The weekend is so long after a Thursday night defeat.
I can see a big improvement in the list but I'm not sure they are ready to beat Richmond just yet.
My hope is that they can stay with them early. That gives us a chance in the last. It seems from the Collingwood game we have the legs.
The very last thing the kids need is a blowout loss. They need to be competitive to maintain their enthusiasm.
Of course, in my dreams we win.
That will give the press something to write about.

Grigg, Castagna, Caddy, Lynch out. Does our prospects no harm.

Wouldn't it be nice to get that 5 goal jump on them again like last year. Reckon we'd do a better job of defending that this time around.

So at the beginning of each quarter, and after each goal the game is re-started with our opposition kicking into their F50?

Wow these new rule changes are insane!

Lynch is playing.

Could work in our favour. They’ve built their game around manic, electric small forwards. This will take some adjustment and he hasn’t played for a long time.

Orrrrrrrr he could kick 10.

Hoping for the former

I am sure a small part of it is for him to get a confidence boost because he knows he usually dominates us. I agree though, will work in our favour, he will be underdone and they haven’t even had time to play him and Jack Riewoldt together yet and they lose a bit of forward pressure.

To stop Lynch we need to restrict supply.

Every other time we leave him in 1-on-1’s he grabs everything.

Fasolo, Walsh, Setterfield, Newman and McGovern will make their Carlton debuts according to the coach

Might mean GIBBons doesn't get a run.

You'd think it would be the same 22 as against Collingwood, minus either Polson or Gibbons for Fasolo.

Lynch under the 6-6-6 rule frightens me
