Less than 5 weeks to go, let's get excited.

Definitely unavailable:
Docherty
Pickett
Fasolo
Lang
Williamson

Under a cloud:
Marchbank
Kreuzer
Jones
McGovern
Cuningham

Marchbank, Jones and Kreuzer no; McGovern and Cuningham yes.

B: Simpson, Weitering, O'Brien
HB: Newman, Goddard/Casboult, Thomas
C: E Curnow, Cripps, Fisher
HF: McGovern, C Curnow, Petrevski-Seton
F: Polson, McKay, Gibbons
FOLL: Lobbe/Phillips, Dow, Murphy
INT: Kennedy, Walsh, Cuningham, Garlett/J Silvagni

Jones, Marchbank, Kreuzer and Fasolo are really needed when fit.

Jones broke his hand over a month ago. He'd should play key back every day before Casboult or Goddard at the moment IMO.
O'Brien is still too slight to play deep defence IMO. As far as I know Plowman should be fully fit by round 1 and is a lock for the deep defender role IMO.

My team-

B. Simpson Jones Plowman
H/B. Newman Weitering Cuningham
C. Fisher Cripps O'Brien
H/F. Gibbons Charlie SPS
F. McGovern McKay Murphy

R. Phillips Setterfield Dow
I/C Kennedy Walsh Ed Garlett

Emergencies. Thomas Silvagni Polson Casboult

Backline has plenty of run. Centre line, forward flanks and pockets have plenty of midfield options, as does the bench.

I like it. Agree on Plowman, if he's fit then definitely in. I'd forgotten about him.

Jones is in for sure if he's ready.

Five on debut.

Exciting times!

As of today, think that’s close. That’s a decent side. Think one of JSOS or Thomas would be in for Setterfield only due to fitness at this stage. That might change depending on how they all go in preseason matches.

I'll be there.

Not sure if it is true or not but I read on a facebook group that because of the shared agreement with Richmond we will not have use of our Captains Club rooms. I hope it is not true as the club doesn't want to upset its members so early in the year.

$5.70

Bet of the year

If we play Thomas and Newman on the hbf and O'Brien in the pocket Richmond could well kick 30 goals.
Cuningham would be a much better option for those nippy Tiger smalls.
Not good match ups for Thomas and O'Brien, decent supply and it would get ugly. Newman maybe.
Playing deep against a Daniel Rioli or a Butler is just not O'Brien's go.

The line at 36.5 is not bad.

The win in a long multi would be fun.

This is where maybe Polson may be picked for his defensive pressure alone.

You can bet we’ll get another injury or two before round 1, but at the moment I would go-

B: Simpson Jones Plowman
HB: Newman Weitering E Curnow
C: Murphy Cripps Dow
HF: Fisher C Curnow Thomas
F: McGovern McKay Gibbons

R: Phillips Kennedy SPS

Inter: Cunningham, O’Brien, Setterfield, Walsh
Emerg: Casboult, Polson, SOJ.
