You're being too kind Agro...the list management committee should've known Cunners had a glass jaw body...We shoulda got Constable instead of Cunningham

not sure if you are being sarcastic or not but you do realise they went in different drafts right?

Bone bruising according to the club, will miss 2-3 weeks.

Some much needed good news on the injury front for the Blues, with defender Caleb Marchbank set to be available for selection this week. More @AFLcomau soon.

It’s really refreshing to see players pulled from games early and then being back in a couple of weeks compared to years past of constantly sending players back out when they’re clearly not right and then missing the rest of the season. Am I right in attributing this change to Russell?

No matter which individuals are involved, (and I have to add it's obvious Andrew Russell is the cornerstone), the Carlton Football Club has put Best Practise high on the ladder of importance.

Ironically, imo, it may be that our Medical/ High Performance program and its direct relationship with the Latrobe Uni Sports Medicine, at Princes Park that will make Carlton a Destination Club by the end of the year.

Disappointing to see Cuningham still unavailable. He has been excellent to date this season so hopefully we see him back soon.

Very encouraging. Should be down to Pickett and Docherty soon, which is a huge improvement from 4 weeks ago.

Now can we not get an injury in the first quarter of a match please to a forward.

So to return between now and the game against the Hawks
Williamson
Kennedy
Kreuzer
Cuningham
Charlie

Which should, form dependent, see the following out of the team
Polson (Cuningham)
O’Brien (Williamson)
Lobbe (Kreuzer)
Gibbons (Kennedy)
Casboult (Charlie)

Hopefully no more injury plagues and the team can have a decent block of games together with the more regulation 1-2 changes for form and the occasional injury.

Was pretty happy about how Marchbank returned. Looked ready and able unlike last time when he hobbled around looking unfit and rusty. If thats how players return to the team it’s a huge improvement on what has been happening previously where apparently we would throw them back into the team and try to get them fit in the games which led to re-injuries.

That right there is just about the difference from us being 2-1 and 0-3. We are really not that far off but we are too young to be carrying 5-6 players.
With Docherty in as well we could have easily been 3-0

It looks like we will only have a few on the injury list before the weekend. Wow!
I wonder how Pickett is traveling?

No mention of Cunningham on the injury report. Does that mean he is OK to resume this weekend?

Had the same thought. Usually they comment on injured players returning though. Strange not to even mention him

Maybe because he doesn't play for Carlton.
