Do what you're asking of the club

be inventive.

Point taken
Your one poster I do respect
It’s born from frustration

True story
Even though I live in WA I still go back to Geelong twice a year
I was in the Grovedale Hotel in March when Matthew Scarlett walked in to have a bet
I introduced myself and said how’s Nathan Kreuger travelling
He said good
I then replied he was ours (Carlton) so he will probably end
up being a champion
He got the joke and laughed
Other clubs must piss themselves with some of our recruiting
over the years particularly last year
And Danny boy it’s been 18 years

You or I can’t do anything to change it
So I will continue to vent

in reality, Scarlett was probably just laughing at you

So, in summary, you went up to a bloke you don’t know in a pub and bagged your own team?

I can believe that.

You walked up to celebrity you’ve never met before and, unprompted, shit canned the club. Then you bragged about it on social media.

Well played.

Take THAT LoGiudice! Take THAT Silvagni!

Oh, you’re from WA
What can you tell us about Deluca? He’s from WA
Prepared to write him off before he plays or will you wait until his 2nd game?

Marlion Pickett would have been a better selection

yes, even SOS would know that, but we need a player who can make an immediate impact to give us supporters something, anything, to be happy about. pickett is out for 8 weeks, which means that we wouldnt get to see him until the last few weeks of the season, and im sure even you would deem that a wasted pick

oh, and the quick reply did make me smile

You watch the twos most weeks
Your reports in the main suggest the cupboard is pretty bare there
Who recruited these players
Who got SOS to the club
Was anyone else interviewed for the job
It’s time for the board to go
Most have had a decade there and failed

Look at how we have performed at senior and reserves over a sustained
period
That is a reflection on who is at the top
Applies to any business

So I had a chat with Matthew Scarlett about another player who we ditched
and mentioned it on a fan forum
And bagged the club
So what
Fact is when it comes to running a footy club the people in charge
have screwed up going back to when big John cheated and got caught
over paying players four @#$%&! times

Better to bag than say nothing or even worse question nicely that things are going not quite well

The place is obviously a basket case and has been for a very long time

You remind me of an angst ridden teenager, writing poems about how nobody understands you because nobody is as deep as you are.

Your judgement is way out if you think you’re the only one unhappy about what’s happened at our club since 1995 and that your posting style (and conduct in pubs, by the sound of it) is going to influence any change.

Yep
Agree with that summation
Every poster who has read my so called garbage knows what I think

I would like to know what other posters really think
Forget about the style of posting or other deflection

We have won 4 games in how many matches?
You would have thought that when Bolton and Silvagni were appointed 2015

Because lets be honest
It’s shit

What do you sugar coater posters really think are the reasons for these terrible efforts

I won’t respond to them
I’ll just read them
Forget about styles of posting

I’m really interested in people’s thoughts

I think our player leadership has been poor for a long time up until Crippa took over.

He and Doc can’t change the culture overnight but I think with Russell they will transform the soft culture into a culture we’ll be proud of.

My hope is that the older players are moved on ASAP to fast track the change.

Because our drafting and trading from 2008 to 2014 was poor (Cripps the exception).

Experience, which if we had drafted well between 2008 and 2014 we would have it today. Of course we also traded out most of senior bodies.
