New memberships for 2019 are now open:

http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/2018-10-11/2019-membership-launched

Quote:
CARLTON has officially launched its membership for 2019, which includes a free upgrade for all 2018 members* as part of its Biggest #BoundByBlue Thank You!

To thank loyal members who signed up this year, they will receive greater benefits to their membership in 2019.

As the Blues enter a new dawn with co-captains Patrick Cripps and Sam Docherty, Carlton has set a new target of 60,000 members in 2019, so make sure you get on board.

The Blues will offer an all-new Legends Lounge package – the Club’s most premium membership in its rich history. Included is premium Level 2 seating, access to glass-fronted function rooms and private bars, a Carlton Legend as MC each week and interviews with players and assistant coaches in the lead-up to the first bounce.

For more details, click here.

There will also be an all new Member Zone which gives members access to walk-up reserved bays at both the MCG and Marvel Stadium.

2019 membership is now available. Sign up here, in-store at The Carlton Shop, over the phone on 1300 CARLTON (277 586) or by requesting a call here.

*To receive the free upgrade, members need to renew their 2018 Carlton membership before Thursday 31 January 2019 and sign up to the Carlton Direct payment option.

I get upgraded from Members reserve to Captains club.
Guaranteed access to a Grand Final ticket next year.
Just have to win a few more games.

I wonder if other clubs' interstate memberships offer more?

It really is just a donation...

I bound myself in blue today purely as an acknowledgement of AR's recruitment.

It is really, but I get to feel part of the team I supported since I could pull up my own socks so its worth it.

I get the beanie too though lol

Go Blues - cant wait for the season to start

PS Just checked two other teams interstate packages (Collingwood and * - as I hate them the most) and packages are very similar

Unfortunately had to leave the member forum tonight after 1hr40min...can anyone who attended tell me if Joe (ex-unofficial selection committee) ever handed the microphone back to staff and/or sat down? As I exited he'd been standing for 20 minutes after LoGuidice told him he would not step down if we finished last in 2019.
Death stares from the diminutive Neapolitano ensued.
All in all a positive forum. Nice to see these things now the norm. It wasn't all that long ago that I shared a Twitter thread of a Boston Bruins member forum (or 'town hall') with a former Carlton executive and was told "You expect us to do the AGM and something like this? Not gonna happen"

Not much newsworthy info from event. Expecting 60,000 members...expect legends lounge to sell out early in new year.

The only new thing I learned at the forum tonight is that the club has employed Jason Mifsud as Aboriginal liaison (Andy Walker’s former gig).

I left after 90 minutes, so I (mercifully) missed Joe’s annual performance.

Oh, the other thing I learned - we seriously need to lock Ben & Finbar in a gym for 12 months....

Little bit annoyed.

Downgraded the family's 4 AFL memberships as we just werent going enough to justify the outlay, then rang the club to organize some 11 game flexi memberships.

Accidentally sent the email confirming cancellation to the Carlton membership rather than the AFL.

The club employs someone in a formal membership retention capacity, sees an email from a 25 year member requesting a cancellation, sees a membership created a day after the email was sent and cancels it, and rather than do as her job suggests, replies back to the email with "yep ok, no problems, that's been done for you. Let me know if you need anything else. Go Blues".

And based on the follow-up, that will be enough throwing good money after bad at this club. Almost makes a guy pine for the days of Clinton Bown.
