On a serious note, interesting timing on the dig from Jonathon Brown OTC last night, who hasn't rated his recruiting record at Freo and said "he'll want to perform better at Carlton!"

He built a list that got into a grand final, what does he want?

Exactly, the media buffons are just that not to be taken too seriously. Give the bloke a go he's respected and well regarded in general.
Young , with good vision, one would think if he passed selection process and will thrive with the challenge , Brad may be lauded by the end of next year.

He extracted great value for Weller, and picked up McCarthy for change

Not a lot of insight here, but what can you do.

Completely missed the most obvious thing that has to happen.

[1] Fix our god damn broken fitness and injury management regime. It has killed us since 2012.

We can't ever get our best team on the park, and we can't run out games (especially in the Bolton era).

Numbers [1], [2] and [3] should be about getting better in that area. Thankfully Cain Liddle already has commissioned an independent report.

Yeah, interesting move that one. Wonder if it's coincidence or if there might be a connection.

But… what role would we want Bond to fill?

A big tick for Lloyd if he lands Andrew Russell.

Couldn't have got off to a better start if he gets Russell.

prayers have been answered.

the single best decision this club has made in the last decade. Russell is the real deal and imo the best in the afl at what he does.
