He might do better than when Armfield was routinely picked there!

Wasn't he our standing CHF?

He was our regular CHB I thought - not sure he ever stood there.

We've gone too tall against one of the competition's running teams and have omitted one of the few quick players we have.
Can't wait to see Wright running down Johannisen and Ed chasing Dahlhaous
Congratulations to TDK on his first game for the Blues.

Yes, we are a bit tall for the side we are playing against. The only reason I accept it because it's a very promising kid getting a game. With Harry and Charlie ad "locks" it was the only way he was getting a run. Nothing to lose now. If it was some other tall I'd be screaming.

You'll be looking for lots of hitouts to advantage, no doubt.

Doggies gone in too short we will smash them in the air.
Why would they go so short against such a tall side

Great to see TDK and Schumacher are close, but I can’t see either of them getting a game. I’d say the bench will be Silvagni, Pickett, Kerridge, Marchbank

Maybe Schumacher for Silvagni?
But yes I can't see how they will fit TDK in the side.

Depends whether they go with D120, D90, D60 or D46...

Go with D120 because you can turn it into D240 by slowing down recording speed !!!!

This potentially deserves it's own thread : youngsters need not apply.

Great to see TDK wearing the navy blue. He caught my eye in the U18 champs and was rapted SOS picked him.

Nice touch to debut Tommy against his old mans former club...............Terry Dekoning played 31 games for the Dogs...................anyhow,i reckon we can pinch this.Block 'em up,don't let 'em run.The defensive pressure type game that we are good at.

TDK will do amazing things to our system.

By the tone of this thread, it seems we aren't expecting a win? Will we be competitive?

Great to see TDK getting his first game. Looks promising and a great kid too

But fear we'll be killed by speed today. If we bomb it and don't mark it they will explode off the backline and I'm expecting quite a few typical doggies style running goals.

Pickett being omitted says something about where he's at if he can't hold his spot with our lack of running power and crumbing types. He could be our most disappointing pick up right now.
