Unbelievably Gold Coast are in an even worse space than we are.

Our recruiting and trades are still a disgrace

As I said last weeks game means nothing now

We may have some great young top end talent but SOs has
Recruited so many average players in the last few years under his watch

It’s bloody disgraceful
Just get a decent recruiting officer

We have talent.

But we don't have a competitive mindset.

How the @#$%&! do super talented players miss from 10m's out and kick straight to the opposition.

It's @#$%&! pissweak mentality.

Let’s look at 3 players who we have on our list
Lang soft lacks intensity
Kennedy slow average kick
Marchbank shit kick

The last 2 we gave up a bit to get
SOS has given these 2 blokes two bites
At the cherry

Hard for him to get decent players from other clubs when we were stockpiling our better picks for kids.
The fact that a lot of these top up players SOS himself says we got for the VFL side, are playing all at once at once at senior level says it all about our injury problems this year.
The problem isn’t recruiting, it’s the coaching and lack of structures / effort

We need to stop making GWS strong and giving them our high draft picks.

Lang and Kennedy have had no Pre seasons.
Lang was traded for a 4th round pick, and as playing Finals in a strong Gerlong team last year
Marchbank can play. Has played some really good footy for us so far since coming over. One bad performance don’t make him crap.

People have already lost interest in NEXT year.Thats the problem with a woeful performance like that at this time of year.It saps all enthusiasm for next season.

I lose interest in "next year", at this time, every year... but I always renew early in the new year... but this year I've finally had it... I think

Is it wrong of me to want to put Cripps away for the year? I'm worried that he'll get broken and we won't have him to carry us next year.

What's our record for most 100+ losses in a season? Freo over there, Crows maybe playing for a spot in the 8, even the Dogs on last nights form are all a chance

The pick we gave to GWS for Kennedy, GWS used for Brent Daniel.

But I was told in another thread what’s my point.

Well the point is if we don’t realise what the point is, that’s the bloody point.

Bolton: We just played a serious contender. That’s the hardest-running midfield I’ve experienced this season, and a template for our midfield to follow.
Bolton: We’ve got a lot of hard work to do.
Bolton: The most disappointing part for us was that we conceded those five late goals in the second term.
Bolton: We could have thrown more players behind the ball, but I wanted our players to learn from this opportunity.
Bolton: Today was the best output we’ve seen from McKay this season, but he’s still got a lot of work to do on his defensive game.
Bolton: We never accept any loss, but any loss is a great learning opportunity.
Bolton: We won’t put a line through Kreuzer, but he’s missed some footy and we need to build him up.

Well played Harry. Hopefully that gives him more confidence. Would love to see him have a 10 mark, 5+ goal game before the season's end so he can have some real belief going into the pre-season.

Watching Bonar and O'Brien's respective performances was somewhat disheartening. God we need a priority pick at the top of the draft. Getting Lukosius and Walsh/Rankine would provide a lot more hope going into next season.

Pros:

Harry and Dow.
Simmo and Samo looked like they were trying.
15 minutes in the 2nd quarter. Not much else.

Cons:

We simply can't compete for skill or run with other teams at that venue at the moment. Didn't help that we were absolutely brutalised at the clearances. But looked like we were playing in slow motion compared to the opposition who were faster, cleaner, bigger and stronger.
Easy set shot misses and the usual assortment of awful back half turnovers leading to easy goals.
Carlton players consistently slipping over or going to ground unnecessarily. Graham seems particularly adept at this.
We seem to have a policy of making it as easy as possible early for interstate opposition at our home games.
Not sure why it took us so long to try Ed on Kelly.
First time I've been this year, and I've never experienced a footy crowd so quiet.
The absolutely vacuous club 'entertainment' provided in the breaks. Just shut up please. :banghead:

I will be paying up early as usual. But not referring to myself.Im talking about others who i thought were walkup starts who are chucking in the towel after that pathetic last quarter. That last quarter is gonna cost this club big time on every front whether recruiting ,memberships and anything else you like to name.I think at one stage they had 16 players on the ground yet still ran rings around us.pathetic...............feel there is a major eruption just around the corner. It will be very welcome.

Really?... that was "the most disappointing part for us"?

Did anyone ask him how we were outscored 38 points in the last by an opposition with only 16 players at times?... or did the twitter guy leave that part out?
