The first 3 quarters went as expected...
Green shoots... McKay, Curnow, Dow, SPS showed glimpses

O'Shea not up to it and whoever called Polson an "almost footballer" is right on the money

That last quarter was a disgrace...
outscored 7 goals to 1 against a team with no rotations... conceding some goals with just 16 players on the ground

... it was @#$%&! embarassing

With a minute to go, 105 points behind & 65m from goal, we had possession and decided to kick backwards or sideways 4 times until we finally gave it up to a team with 17 fit men.

Our football club is [REDACTED].

Thank god that one's over. Belted by a much more mature team.

Clearances 47-27, inside 50s 43-66.

Well done Harry McKay, good performance even without a heap of opportunity.

But it's important to remember none of this is the coaching staffs fault :donk:

I don't want a PP because that's not our problem. This group of coaches have either recruited, selected or extended the contracts of every single player on the list.

AND they keep picking players like Oshea who is so shit my head is spinning.

They might have only had 16 in their jumpers but they effectively had 19 when O’Shit, Polson and Graham were out there.

That was putrid

The AFL have a major problem on their hands. Free agency and getting rid of pre first round priority picks is only serving to increase the divide between the bottom clubs and the rest. They thought the idea that a team might put a weaker side on the park to ensure an extra pick was a bad look for the game. Watching clubs perennially in the doldrums is far worse for the game whilst others maintain their top 8 appearances year after year by feasting on these clubs' carcasses. The AFL need to get serious and give carlton and GC picks 1 and 2 as priority picks. Not this bullshit end of round 1 picks that do nothing

I have said it before
I’ll will say it again
Our recruiting and trades are still a disgrace

As I said last weeks game means nothing now

We may have some great young top end talent but SOs has
Recruited so many average players in the last few years under his watch

It’s bloody disgraceful
Just get a decent recruiting officer

I don't know what happened after qtr time but the shit mindset we took into that game is the real worry. That's what needs fixing first.

We have talent.

But we don't have a competitive mindset.

How the @#$%&! do super talented players miss from 10m's out and kick straight to the opposition.

It's @#$%&! pissweak mentality.

The way Melbourne are going against the Suns no doubt the afl will step in and give the Suns picks 1,2,3,4 as compo for lynch leaving...

Was prepared to cop a 10-12 goal loss based on the teams, but that last quarter FMD.

O’Shea and Graham papers stamped you’d think.

But the biggest failing today was mindset. Some serious concrete needs to be fed to these guys in their protein shakes.
