someone went down with that Lamb goal too, who was that and what happened there?

Matty Wright. Stood next to the man on the mark and then laid the shepherd just as Murphy handed it to Lamb.

At least Carlton supports will get to watch Josh Kelly in action! Hopefully the end of next year!

Best all-round mid in the AFL.

Patrick Cripps cleared contact DSwallow. Swallow attempts to take possession. Cripps comes to side, wraps his right arm around Swallow and tries to knock the ball with left hand. The momentum of both players sees them go to ground. Match Review said it was not a dangerous tackle.

Would challenge Charlie’s. Insufficient force for mine.

Also he was clearly pushed into the contact. He had no reason to have the arm up however and that could be his risk. I'd take it on and risk greater penalty.

Nah, give Charlie a rest this week. He’s carried a fairly big load this season. Freshen him up for the last 2 games and try to end the season positively.

Also, by not challenging, we’re sending the kid a message that - as minor as it was - it was sloppy and dumb. We don’t want him doing shit like that in a game that actually matters.

Hate to say it, but I agree with this.

Also, would rather he be cherry ripe for these two

Crows too. They're garbage at the moment.

Fair points although I'd still challenge the suspension. Get him off and then rest him for the week for being stupid.
Whether he plays or not is irrelevant. What he did, when compared to taylor walker on touhy and the may hit on curnow, does not deserve a week. Let alone zak jones punching someone in the face while looking at him and getting a fine

Zak Jones from the swans looks Merrit in the face, then punches him in the face. Just a fine! Not graded as intentional

Charlie graded intentional :hitcomputer:

Challenge the Charlie week out of principal and then rest him if we win. Haha.

..........Merrit is a flog tho.

Nah, there will be OUTRAGE if Curnow gets off for that hit.

Also, expect the Cripps tackle to be milked for all it's worth this week.

One of the Carlton players copped similar in the first couple of minutes of the second quarter. I suspect it was Murphy but I'm not certain. He was running inside 50 and the GC player lifted his arm and dropped him behind play. I'll be interested to see if it's picked up.

Maybe someone who has better IT skills than me (That's 99% of the population) could produce a video of this. I'd love to know why it wasn't picked up by the MRO and what the difference is to Charlies incident.

Those against that would say, 'Kerr? No!'

I think Zak got a discount for punching an * player. I don’t begrudge him that joy.
