Swans are Premiership favourites if you listen to the media about how good Essendon* win was Friday night.

This was what was noticeable last night. Amazing what pressure on the opposition does.

Who's going to be leading the charge to have Cripps suspended?

We got these kids for their skill and run then suppressed it.
They all had a purpose and a avenue to attack.

no zone
no probs

Yep,the young 'uns are slowly but surely getting it together.................thats all that matters at this stage......................but if you have to individualise then Cripps is a freak.Long time since we have had a player of that ability in the place. And i will say it again " shit he's big ".

We can only hope that Bolts can see that too.

All my expectations came true.

Early injuries didnt stuff up our rotations.
Cripp and Murphy 2 year extensions to inspire the young uns
SPS McLeod like
Dow and Lobbe to run into form
Weitering Silvagni and Marchbank to show their strength
Lang to come into form and playing for a spot in the 2019 team.

I expected McKay to have a break out game given the lack of reference to him individually in the media.

Amazing #IBELIEVE

They're just kids, and that DOES mean alot.

A very good all round win. First time for a long time all or most of the players evenly contributed. Yes, Cripps was top possession getter, and what's new? It's when others contribute and take the load, the wins become easier.

Goodness me, how was the dash by McKay as he broke away from his opponent on the 3/4 time siren. Goal he kicked didn't count, but gee can he move.

Dow is contending to be our 3rd A grader, next to Cripps and Charlie.

Last night highlighted how much we missed Bunsen Byrner and his dash.

SPS' best game since his NRS game against Pies last year. Very clean and loved his contested work.

For those doubting our list of youngsters, hope they stood up and took notice last night. See my auto signature

Yeah sure.
We've been playing predominantly man on man defence for weeks. The difference is we're not playing a seventh defender as often. And to suggest playing a zone defence somehow stifles run is fanciful. A zone is only relevant when the OPPOSITION have the ball.
The reality is we got some good players in, we played the second bottom side and we took our chances when they didn't.
But if some of the keyboard warriors think "their" plan to get us back on track somehow affected the result, knock yourselves out.
Whatever the case, we can all enjoy a win for the next 7 days.

Yep. Marchbank was the 7th defender at times last night.

It's just been the lack of execution in the basic fundamentals that's killed us the last few weeks, but they clearly had a good week of training which gave them confidence last night.

You can insert all the emojis you like but you're talking crap.
We played man on man, no spare men, no guarding grass with hit up players.
Bolton has the balls to change his game style but you keep defending the crap.
We got some player is and lost others, give it a break you are becoming very tiresome.
They played to the kids strengthens and they played well.
For the first time in a long time they did't look confused or lost.
Are you a politician?

Bolts did have the balls to change it a couple of weeks ago. Credit to him.

to me the difference was about skill, this time we didn't continually hit them on the chest, giving the ball back and having us all out of position

plus I also liked Lobbe's game (as I did his first quarter against the Hawks) his work is very good.

Next continuity - Kennedy, Cripps, Dow and SPS have played some games together in a row.

Finally, Polson and Picket. I know Pickett didn't do a lot but he and Polson have speed and hurry their defenders or manage scraps where the ball is help up until Cripps and co arrive.

Also The Suns were shite n- that always helps.

A politician? No, just a football follower.
No spare men? Marchbank played as a spare in the first quarter. Nice try. Watch the game.
Bolts coached well. The players played well. It has nothing to do with demands made by uninformed keyboard warriors.

Why cant people just give credit where it's due? :?

No spare men? Marchbank played as a spare in the first quarter. That just tells me you don't have any idea. Like others, you make shit up to justify your opinion. Watch the game.

As for your comments about zones suppressing run, I note you didn't attempt to justify that. It was laughable.

Why cant people just give credit where it's due? :?

Great point, we went one on one in the second and we started to play good footy.

And to add to the above, they lost Swallow in the first quarter a key big body mid and we didn't lose anyone (until it was all over anyway). This gave us a chance to actually play to a game plan and not plug holes for once.
