Pros:

Kept trying, despite limited numbers.
Terrific effort at getting first hands at clearances, although we would often then end up conceding the clearance due to a turnover.
Ed, Lobbe, Harry, Kennedy, Cripps, SOJ, Weitering, Polson.
Loved the burst of speed from Pickett in the last quarter.
Hawthorn's inaccuracy.
Favourable umpiring for the weaker team.

Cons:

Injuries. Again. Again. Again. :banghead:
Skill and decision making turnovers.
Our inaccuracy.
Our defensive zone.
Missed tackles.

If we're going to have another tall in there may as well be De Konning for a few games rather than Levi. Levi's done a pretty good job over the years given his talent filling that gap between losing Waite and Henderson and the young ones coming though but after his contract runs out his time is probably done. He'll be 30. Good to have with the NB's for another year to help young one's along but that's it. He come as pick 44 in a rookie draft so we've done well to get out of him what we have. His 100th game was one of his best games for the club but since he busted his rib he's really struggled.

We have to remove the barnacle. Trade him to GC.

His career has been better than people think. He's just everyone's whipping boy. Young one's have taken over now though. Has another year on the contract so some senior leadership in the NB's for one more year can't hurt.

The delusion has gone on way too long. Should be moved on.

Don't play 100 games unless you have something at least, even at Carlton. He's done his job.

The Board must go, SOS must go, Bolts must go. I agree - we need a complete purge. If a company was run by a complete bunch of bozos like the CFC, they'd be turfed out in no time

If MLG thinks we can't get any worse on-field, he can GAGF.

The only player on our list who can't kick is Levi. The rest can kick, they're just under so much pressure - mental and physical - that they're unable to execute.

Actually have no issue with SOS. Drafting has been very good. Been good at turning things into early picks. Marchbank, Kennedy, Plowman and even Pickett and Phillips have been good pick ups. Reckon Lang will be too when he's fit. Delisted free agents though, well, outside of Wright, wish he'd left them alone. Usually a reason why most are delisted. Those and the GWS steak knives taking them off our hands have clogged up the list. Way too many of them. he is one person we will possibly be worse off if he goes.

Were brought in to give experience to VFL side. None would be anywhere near the senior side had it not been for probably worst ever injury crisis.

Didn’t SOS say that Mullet and someone else were recruited for the reserves and our younger players.

You're joking Dom blaming SOS and letting Bolton off. SOS's drafting has been terrific. So has his ability to manipulate things into early picks. Marchbank, Kennedy and Pickett are good pick ups. Even with injuries Bolton has to get more our of these players than he's getting. He's been a disgrace this year, especially with that idiotic game plan. Don't accept failure like that. He's making Pagn look good this year.

Go to training and to practice games. They can all kick the ball. They've been doing it since they were 4. Levi is the only one with a dodgy action. The problem with accuracy is 95% above the shoulders and gameplan.

So we delisted Buckley, Gowers and Holman to make way for NB players? Yeah, good move SOS and Bolts! That's not only the dumbest excuse I've ever heard, it's also mind @#$%&! arrogant. :banghead:

Our kicking standards are woeful
So many guys don’t gut run

If you’d a recruiter you don’t pick them unless
Their truly exceptional at another exponent of the game
Like Cripps is with contested ball

SOS has a poor eye for talent unlike other recruiters

He can't be that bad keogh we had 5/6 rising stars last year.
It's not the be all to end all but it does have some merit.
When/if they are allowed to flourish will be the telling point.

The club really is going out of its way to piss off some members.
I sit in aisle 34, level 1.
The club has been promoting a super bay, in aisle 35, for a cost of $15 which is less than general admission.
Many of this area has reserved seating memberships, but it is usually only half full.
Today it was full of Hawthorn supporters who paid their $15 and could sit anywhere in the bay.
When it was full they started to sit in our area.
I asked the attendant if any of them had reserved seats and was told they could sit anywhere in this bay.
I found an Etdihad official who tried to contact someone from the club, I wanted them to see for themselves how our super bay looked filled with brown and gold. Apparently they were at official functions. He was sympathetic and said other clubs were doing something similar.
Anyway, he took my number and someone from the club is supposedly ringing me this week.

One positive from today was I got 10% off my $3 pie.

1. 2005 was his 1st year as coach
2. He won 5 games, not 1
3. in his 3rd year they finished with 14 wins and played finals
4. He's a mate of Bolts'.

Disappointing first half but did see green shoots

Thought Weiters was good today

Kennedy better and just needs continuity

Really disappointing for fisher looking good before he went
Umpires really need to stop players like Howe whacking good players like Cripps

Thought H looked ok kicking deplorable for goal wasn't the only one

Obrien Was ok as well

Pickett flashed in and out
Polson better and best game -needs to do more

Bloody injuries when don't we have a couple down on bench
Running out of soldiers

Whose his coach again? - that’s right - Ian Aiken says hello.

Not sure why we played him when we had Harry and Charlie. Struggled bad since he got chained on the cruise boat

Did they have 10 years of shit recruiting they had to make up for as well over that time ?
And bemoaning the loss of Buckley, Hollman, and Gowers... really.... nobody blinked an eyelid when we got rid of them.... if we hadn't had so many injuries, you wouldn't even have remembered their names.
