Excuse my naivety, but do you post under two different usernames so that you can seemingly give weight to your own arguments? Surely not.

I doubt anyone does that. It was obviously an honest mistake.

Anyway, that aside, I disagree with your idea that the picks should be seen as trade value. Think of all the players on our list that we're excited about. Unless I've missed one, they all came from the draft. That's where our future is and I really hope that the club hangs tight with this policy.

I also have one other quiet hope that we all know won't be realised: we get a PP at the start of the first round, ie we have #1 and #2. Yeah yeah, never happen I know ... but just imagine the outrage from Whately etc. Oh momma!

not me lol

i was taking the piss out of the poster

my bad

Rucci reckons we'd get pick 2 as a PP.

This is what the club should be asking for...

Trade with Adelaide pick 1 for 8 and 13 and agreement they take lokosous (or whatever his name is)

We get Walsh with 2 and still have 8, 13, 24

Get Shiel next year as free agent or trade 13 this year

Walsh, Shiel and pick 8 ... That's a turn a helping hand

I'll reserve judgment until I hear what Paddycripps has to say.

Surely it's just a pr stunt after all the 'just a feeling' tanking crapola in the past. Just another f up if they don't apply.

According to the HUN (worst newspaper in Australia) ...

The AFL has said a priority pick for Carlton is out of their hands. Apparently teams have to request a pick. As long as Carlton continue their stance … there will be no priority pick going their way.
