From where is this news from?

I certainly hope it is true, and I really hope it is the Adelaide Football club. I would love it if they were suspended from the 2018 draft.

The AFL head of footy is a former Geelong bloke, and Geelong & St Kilda hate each other with a passion. As much as Gil will wants to help Simon, Gil won't do it since he will be reined in by Hocking and he is still embarrassed by the au-pair saga. I say St Kilda and Brisbane get nothing and Gold Coast and Carlton get a mid 1st round pick (probably with strings attached - aka must trade).

Very hard for Geelong to miss the finals with the GMHBA games they play. Have to be absolutely terrible away from there and while they might be good absolutely terrible is a long way down. Seventh or eighth and out in the first week of the finals is about bottom for them so they don't get the opportunity to get top draft picks or PP and are forced into taking these early picks from other clubs by the strength of their home ground advantage
