The AFL probably told them to play hard ball with Martin and we'll give you a priority pick in return.
It'd be just our luck if they did.

That's believable...and AFL interference and their constant anti Carlton decisions has nothing to do with luck.

The [REDACTED] AFL Commission should be upturned, and AFL should revert back to playing our game of Aussie Rules just as our forefounders intended...but leave the "out of bounds on a full" rule in place.

They need to kick Mc Goose-lin out of bounds on the full.

I’ve said it before. You can make a case that the Bulldogs are the only team to win it this century who did not benefit from draft or salary concessions that are no longer available. I now hope we do too, because it’s an extremely rare event while the AFL equalises.

I'll be interested to see how obnoxious you get after #18 + #19.

Well now GCS has so many first rounders they can afford to force an uncontracted player who didn't play every week in the seniors into the PSD, I'd say they are using them wisely just like they did first time around.

This.

Glaring Exhibit A to the AFL that the Gold Coast don't need a raw bounty of picks, they need a fully AFL adminsitered clean out of their management, the Martin bust is an immediate example of poor governance post-handout on their behalf

It'd be really nice if just once there could be a non-compromised national draft.

It was last year. When hand outs were state league players. Just a coincidence though.
