On Saturday I’ll be going to the MCG for the first time in many years, any advice on access and seating? Should I buy in advance or rely on being able to get tickets at the gate?

I prefer ground level seating around the pockets or on the wing.

I think you'll be fine this week.

Hey sin, if you go to gate 3 which is towards the punt road end on the northern/MCC Members side of the ground, you can get general admission seats on ground level exactly where you'd like. Look for bays M54-57. As Don said you'll be right to get a ticket at the gate no worries at all. Enjoy the mighty 'G'.

Can confirm Marc Murphy will return for Carlton this weekend. He speaks exclusively about coming back in time for Kade Simpson’s 300th on @7NewsMelbourne 645

I like that centreline

Jack is one of the few left who can play HB from what i know.

If Murphy gets injured again I reckon I'll lose my shit. Is there really any harm at all in managing his time through the twos until he gets a modicum of fitness and is confident in his body?

Kruezer had concussion? I thought it was his ankle.

Yeah, I don't like it either. Obviously some players are above VFL.

Murphy had a solid pre-season. His fitness base would be OK.
He'd be wasted in the VFL. Even if he plays as a small forward, he's still great value.

That’s what Kreuzer thought. Maybe you have concussion too :-)

You mean just as the pre-arranged applause for Simmo starts, making it look like the Blues fans are applauding Murphy getting injured??? I can see the headlines in the HUN already.

The problem is small forwards are expected to apply pressure and tackle, something murphy’s not renowned for.

Apparently Kreuzer has an ankle concussion.
