There is a few AFL umpires that need to be investigated.

I expect the only scrutiny to be in the couple of dodgy ones we got. Otherwise, nothing to see here.

At what point do we use one our last remaining voices in the media to point it out.

Much better and had it been pies who lost a key forward in warm up and then down two on bench after half time who knows. Curnow xlt. Dow tough skilfull, just needs to tidy disposal, thought Jones was very good despite a couple of changes. Weitering very good on Cox. SPS pretty good but could go harder at times. Kennedy looked much better.

Rowe tried but his ball handling is awful. Cam O'Shea is just not AFL standard. Tries hard but is always a metre off. Gave away lots of frees by being out positioned. Hard to understand what benefit we thought we'd get by replacing Buckley boekhurst and white with O'Shea mullet and Shaw. The other three were fringe but at least they were our fringe. And white was way better than O'Shea.

I saw the frees figures flash on screen but at the game I didn't notice really.

Just when we thought we might be getting a full list we cop more injuries.

last week was rock bottom

Today was the start of the resurgence

I'm pumped. WHos' with me?

Great showing by the kids. REally impressed by Kennedy. Charlie and Cripps are megastars. FIngers crossed we're set to announce a Cripps multi year deal.

Hard at it Blues.

Lots of soft giveaways to the PIes. REfine that and the game is ours.

That is the real Carlton Football Club...................win,lose,or draw, make your presence felt...........we have good kids at last.Something to build on....................Rowe was lion hearted to the extreme, don't bag him.Had to shoulder a huge load in all areas of the game.Inspirational performance for mine. kept coming, never dropped off..................keep this going for the rest of the season and there will be a stampede of blokes trying to get on board.

The Carlton Football Club................Now Always Forever.

He did but he fumbles all the time and trying hard is admirable but he is just a battler. I would think Phillips would replace him next week.

Maybe. I just admire blokes who get asked to play a totally unfamiliar role on 3 minutes notice, don't cry about it and give it their best. You wouldn't see him 'considering his future'.

We could be in a world of pain next week.

No Doc, Willo, Plowman, Byrne, Daisy, Macreadie, or Marchbank, add to that Schumacher injured.

Matt Shaw debut?

Speaking of 3 minutes’ notice: O’Shea was in the stands and didn’t get to the bench until nine minutes into the game. Tough ask to get into game mode.

Rowe should only be a depth player mainly playing in the bullants, yet he’s asked to play FB, FF and first ruck in the seniors. All in a single game. I don’t think he deserves any criticism.

Such a talent. Dow and LOB really looked like school kids out there today but their talent shows. They will be rippers in a year or 2

Certainly that puts him right on the back foot.
However he stayed poor the whole game and he's been poor all season.
This was his worst game.

It’s a shame that so many injuries this year has meant we’ve had to play ‘triers’ like Mullett, O’Shea, Lamb and Rowe (and Kerridge and Graham up until this week) on a more regular basis than we’d hoped.
Can’t wait til the side goes past having to play these guys.
Olbia they give their best, but they cost us sooo many goals with their turnovers.

Given this year isn't isolated in terms of injury "luck", my fear is that we never truly will.

I don't know about you, but I feel as if I've been saying "Just wait til we have a full squad" for the past 10 years or more.

How could you predict or prevent luck like Levi breaking his finger in the last drill of the warm up, and then in the sane game, losing Plowman and Kreuz (who were both playing great) in the first qtr and a half.
