Having played 256 games against the filth the win/loss ratio is now 127-125... they've caught up in recent times

Hope we get our shit together real soon...

Umpiring was disgraceful.

So are we however when we don’t or refuse to bring our game every week.
It’s embarrasing knowing what we can do but refuse to do most weeks.

Pros:
- Our young guys kept us in it
- Cripps and Curnow showing they will be among the elite in the not too distant future.

Cons:
- Our experienced guys are the ones who [REDACTED] us.
- More @#$%&! injuries
- Effort like that makes last week all the more galling

I said it in the gameday thread. But I just want bolts to come into the presser, drop his wallet on the table and invite questions about the umpiring.

Most posters on here seem to not even dislike Collingwood anymore, so I'm sure they don't really care about this.

Dow's best game.

Fisher late.
Kennedy solid.
Polson active.
Wieters very good.
Charlie wow.
Crippa.wow.
Garlett competed better.
2nds won.

Green shoots.

We got 9 of those in the last quarter.
It was 24 to 10 at 3/4 time.

It was 7 to 18 at half time and 9 to 24 at three quarter time. Don’t worry Tim Watson will be all over it on Monday given his stand last week about the free kick count in WC vs Ess.

Great effort today.
We really cannot take a trick with injuries.
Kennedy looked really good.
Cripps is a superstar.
Lots to look forward to.

Pros:

Terrific effort, particularly with restricted numbers.
Charlie, Cripps, Simmo and Jones.
Encouraged by Weitering, Kennedy, Dow, SPS, SOJ.
Good 2nd half from Fisher.
Garlett does some exciting things. Just wish he'd tackle occasionally. And find some more ball.
Liked Polson's defensive pressure. Just wish he found more ball, and had more poise when he got it.

Cons:

Injuries.
Lots of 'play on' calls when Collingwood players were tackled and threw it out.
LOB struggled today. Although there was one beautiful pass to Charlie in the forward 50 in the last quarter.
Wright's got the yips in front of goal.

There is a few AFL umpires that need to be investigated.

I expect the only scrutiny to be in the couple of dodgy ones we got. Otherwise, nothing to see here.

Today I saw a Collingwood player duck his head run straight into his team mate and get a free kick for it smfh. They probably need to shut this sport down and start again...it's an affront to humanity

Bolton: Considering the adversity we faced with injury and who we were coming up against, it was a pleasing performance.
Bolton: The players dug really deep. It's hard to win a game losing one rotation, let alone three.
Bolton: We've got a game to win for Simmo's 300th next week.
Bolton: Kreuzer rolled an ankle. We'll assess him for ligament damage. It's never a good sign when players don't finish games.
Bolton: If you look at our last month of footy barring that first half against Freo, there's a lot we've done right.
Bolton: Dow was impressive again today.
Bolton: Curnow's had a fair bit of media this week, and he's come out and kicked three. As I've said, he's determined to keep growing.
Bolton: I like what Rowe did and Daisy kept cracking in, but we didn't win the game, so we'll keep cracking in and working hard.
Bolton: With developing teams. growth isn't always linear. We've got a heap of work to do, but we're a united football club and we're up for the fight.
Bolton: I'm hoping Murphy can get up to play alongside his good mate Simmo next week.
