Could he be their next coach?

This is big if true. Cain Liddle at the Optus pre-match in Perth was questioned about coaching appointments and said that there was going to be no movement in the coaching ranks and that we were advanced with talks for the Head of Football (which ended up being Lloyd).

No movement??
Wtf?
Who is this Liddle guy and what exCtly is good about him?
He made a dumb move already with the sweeping PP statement.
Does he think it is fine to lie to the public or does he shoot his mouth off without support for his statements?

To be fair, he actually came across great and generally impressed the rest of us in the crowd.

Sorry Bluegirl I don't mean to be disrespectful, but it's clear you have never had any executive experience if you genuinely believe that our CEO should never lie.

In these instances though
What good would it do?
I mean so what if we change a few assistant coaches? Why the need for evasiveness? I am just wondering what sort of bloke he is. Trigg made himself known to members very quickly.

Those coaches are still coaching and we need them focused on teaching our kids until season is over, coaches coming into our club also look how we treat those that are exiting our club, so lets be respectful to our coaches.

If Liddle was to say that there would be changes in our coaching panel, the next question is who would be exiting. Would you be happy to be told your services are no longer required via the media?

So let's assume that you agree that he shouldn't name the coach that will be getting the boot, so now he is lying anyway and further all our assistant coaches are now nervous and may look to seek a position elsewhere and the one coach that is most likely to get a gig elsewhere is the one we don't want to lose.

The rule of executive management is to tell everyone what is happening, not what your thinking.

There is a new rule if assistant coaches are to be moved on they have to be notified by 1st August.
Therefore you can assume that since there has been no announcement the status quo will continue

I thought that was only for uncontracted assistant coaches, so theoretically you could just payout next years salary and still terminate the assistant.

Personally I think that if Mitchell was coming it would just be an additional coaching position.

Alternatively they can just do it like in Office Space. "Barks, we've had a bit of a realignment of responsibilities. You still keep your salary and title but your new office is this broom closet and your new role is to use the dymo label maker to put together our magnets. Remember, it's Cuningham with one N only."

Come on down Sam Mitchell.

No surprise that our midfield coach gets the boot given our setups.

I thought Amos was mid coach this year after being defensive coach?
