Agreed. Let’s not lose sight of this no matter what happens over the next week.

No player we can recruit is as important as this bloke.

Amazing appointment by blues. The best conditioning and mental coach by far ( more important then senior coach or star player) #gamechanger #bluesareback

You can't help but be impressed by his interview on the website. Obviously has a really strong grasp on the range of variables you need to consider and manage to achieve your athletic potential. He could obviously see from the outside looking in that our players are incredibly raw and need to put some focused effort into improving their bodies. Sounds like it could be quite a transformative experience for our players. I'm looking forward to seeing the training pics over the pre-season.

If he can make our current squad fitter, stronger and mentally tougher, no amount of “trade wins” can even come close.

Great interview and he nailed all the facets required to be an elite athlete.

He has a lot to work on and with.

Weitering’s core against guys like Tom Lynch - Birchall
SPS repeat efforts - Burgoyne
O’Brien strength - Isaac Smith
Kennedy’s endurance - Sam Mitchell
Pickett’s mental hunger to push through the pain when the lungs burn - Rioli

And as he mention the talls.

Curnow and McKay can be become the best tall duo since Roughead and Franklin. Maybe he sees it.

This.
I liked the no-nonsense answers. No evasion, no motherhood statements. Plain speak.
I'm surprised he's so young.
I imagined he would be older for some reason. Perhaps the perception in my mind that it takes a long time to get a reputation like he had earned.

Is it also a possibility that this “Hawthorn culture” everyone attributes to good bloke Hodge might actually be on account of this guy?

Will be interesting to see how Jaegar's knees hold up next season without this guy managing them. In fact, will be interesting to see how the entire Hawks team manage.

Finally watched the interview. Highly impressive. Genuinely excited about what impact he can have on our players.

His impact on us across the board will be massive. Involved with 6 premierships to date and from all accounts from Hawks fans I know he is a tireless freak. As others have said, could be by far the biggest thing we'll do this trade period
